Why The Country Will Fail

I’m really bummed out about the Alec Baldwin trial.

The guy got off.

Alec Baldwin got away with a crime just like the other celebrities have gotten away with their crimes.

It’s a gross miscarriage of justice.

I’m sure that the couch potatoes and celebrity watchers are happy that he got off. They couldn’t care less – although they should.

But I care.

I don’t even know why I care because I’m not gonna be here for much longer.

But I do.

I care because it’s in my blood. I can’t stand seeing favoritism in a society where the ruling class thinks that Alec Baldwin deserves to get off because he has contributed so much more to society.

Here’s the newsflash: Alec Baldwin has contributed no more to society than you.

You work hard at your job and he works hard at his job.

Case closed.

He is no better than you.

But here we have these self proclaimed experts who write their snide opinions based upon no knowledge.

They arrogantly and pompously proclaim that this case never should’ve come to court.

They never say why it should never been brought to court; they just say it as if it were established fact.

Well, if a person asks recklessly in a work environment, or produces a work environment, that is unsafe, can they be charged criminally?

They most certainly can.

Hannah Gutierrez was recently convicted of involuntary manslaughter and now sits in a prison.

So if Hannah Gutierrez is sitting in a prison because she was reckless, why is it not appropriate to go after Alec Baldwin?

It certainly is appropriate.

And there is plenty of evidence that he contributed to that recklessness aside from his handling of the gun.

Not only was he rushing people around by telling them to hurry up during a gun scene, he was the main man on the production.

He was the Alpha and the Omega.

He was the big cheese.

He was responsible for hiring the guy who hires the guy.

The entire production was careless from the get go.

That’s why people walked off the set.

One only had to look at Seth Kenney‘s warehouse to see that proper care and supervision wasn’t taken.

Seth Kenney’s warehouse looked like a pigsty.

There were old pizza boxes lying haphazardly around boxes of ammunition.

It was Alec Baldwin‘s job to oversee all that to at least check the type of operation Kenney was running.

If you’re going to be the producer or the executive producer, you have a responsibility to check these things out.

He didn’t do that, and for that he is culpable.

But none of that mattered to the judge.

The judge wept over the Constitution.

What about the constitutional rights of Halyna Hutchins?

The judge didn’t give a damn about her rights.

And that was because Halyna Hutchins wasn’t a big enough star, which is a crime in America today.

That is what depresses me.

That’s not what this country is supposed to be about. And the further we get away from what this country is supposed to be about, the closer we are to destruction.

And we won’t see it coming.

It’ll just happen and people will wonder why.

Well, I’m telling you why.
