Please lie to me, Walt. I’m begging you. Please give me a quick fix of The Little Mermaid now! Tell me that we Americans are always the good guys and that the rest of the people of the world are a pack of suffering animals who require Americans to bestow our beautiful democracy upon them.
A nation begins falling when its political class thinks its all that. That arrogant attitude begins in childhood with errant concepts like GT classes.
If gifted children are so gifted, let them help out their less fortunate classmates. In so doing, they’ll learn about empathy and compassion.
