Cowboy Archer

Here it is, baby! The truth you don’t want to handle.

Warning: It’s safer to go back to mainstream media where you can look the other way as America slaughters the world.

Aaaaaargh!

Please lie to me, Walt. I’m begging you. Please give me a quick fix of The Little Mermaid now! Tell me that we Americans are always the good guys and that the rest of the people of the world are a pack of suffering animals who require Americans to bestow our beautiful democracy upon them.

The Price for Greatness

Currently, Jets fans are in despair over their team.

They had anticipated that Aaron Rodgers would lead them to the promised land.

When that didn’t happen they had to turn to their back up quarterback, Zach Wilson, who doesn’t have as much experience.

Well, after winning the first game, the Jets have lost the next two, and Jets fans are naturally but not surprisingly enraged.

Many of them have thrown in the towel and declared the season over.

Others are calling for the team to bring in Carson Wentz or Matt Ryan, in order to salvage the season.

That would be a mistake.

The Jets should stick with Zach Wilson.

The only way for Zach Wilson to improve as a quarterback is for him to be out there and get beat.

He has to be exposed to everything the NFL can throw at him.

Robert Saleh needs to keep him out there and let his butt get beat as bad as it needs to be beaten so that Zach Wilson can figure out his own method of playing the position.

Not every player comes in ready to go like Patrick Mahomes.

The Jets and their fans need to leave him out there and not toss him away after a few seasons. That has been the Jets problem.

The Jets have always gone for the quick fix solution, the brass ring, and they have never secured it.

It’s time for them to stop doing that, and to develop the players they do have.

When Charlie Waters came into the league, he was the worst defender ever.

Teams scored on him at will.

To his credit, Tom Landry left them out there to get beat.

Tom Landry understood that players have to learn the game.

When he was finished with his career, Charlie Waters was the best at his position.

There is a price to be paid for greatness, and nobody rides for free.

Zach Wilson, the Jets, and most importantly their fans must come to understand this.

Sincerely,

Archer Crosley
