The Cause of the Civil War

Yesterday the rage was that Nikki Haley didn’t mention slavery as a primary cause of the Civil War.

Never get in the way of myth and propaganda when talking to the American public.

Now it just st so happens that she was right in not mentioning slavery.

The primary cause of the Civil War was not slavery.

I’m not sure why people are insistent upon thinking that slavery was a primary cause of the Civil War.

Is it because they feel that denying such gives less importance to black people during slavery?

If that is the case, and if you agree that the Civil War was primarily about slavery, help me to get this straight about your logic: White people oppressed black people for hundreds of years, and then suddenly in 1860 white people found Jesus and decided to fight on behalf of black people; and then after the war, white people reverted back to oppression of black people?

Now that’s what our main stream media wants us to believe.

With that stated, let me state the following.

Wars are not for for social justice. In fact, it’s fair to say that no war ever was fought for social justice. That gives too much credit to our leaders then and now.

The Civil War was fought because when the South seceded, they were free to trade their cotton for finished goods from Great Britain. This was an economic threat to the North because the North was more heavily industrialized than the South

Moreover, the South was no longer obligated to pay tariffs.

Now, when the war was over, Jim Crow laws were eventually instituted in the South (North too). Given that, why didn’t the North declare war over such an outrageous racial injustice? They didn’t because they already got what they wanted. They were able to stop the competition from Great Britain.

Now, with that stated, slavery was used as a weapon to fight the South. But it was never the primary cause of the Civil war. Had the South not seceded we might still have slavery today.

The oligarchs who ruled America back during the Civil War had the same mentality as the people who rule America today. They only cared about money. They didn’t care about social justice.

Our oligarchs today are content to have sweatshops (legal slavery) in Haiti and Southeast Asia. Our leaders today are content to sit by and watch Israel bomb Palestinians to smithereens. They don’t care. Similarly the oligarchs during the Civil War didn’t care about human rights or slavery. What they cared about was money.

Isn’t that what you have been saying all these years: that our leaders are corrupt, that they only exist to feather their nest and protect their monetary interests?

Well, the people who are in charge today were tapped on the shoulder by the guy who was tapped on the shoulder by the guy who was tapped on the shoulder, going back to the beginning of time.

These leaders don’t care about social justice. They never did.

They use social justice as a cover for their economic machinations. They do so because they don’t want you to see who they really are.

The sooner you understand that, the sooner you will not be fooled by our leaders.

Now, if you are black, I am sorry that our leaders don’t care about you now, nor ever cared about you. But that’s not my fault. I believe in social justice, and that’s precisely why I’m not in power.

Clinging to myths about the Civil War aren’t going to help anyone. Believing in the truth will.

Never confuse yourself with your leaders.
