Trump: Bro Culture Warrior

So there is Trump hanging out with Dana White at UFC 299 in Miami.

In the background, Kid Rock sings American Badass.

Up front next to the cage sits Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports, a smart-ass at large and a social influencer of young people.

Portnoy is the epitome of Bro Culture which is essentially a group of shallow frat boys who never grew up. Portnoy is 46. Trump is in his 70s.

Generally Bro Culture boys make crude misogynistic jokes, speak hip, eat a lot of pizza, drink beer, dress up in sports paraphernalia and fuck a lot of women.

Trump is Bro Culture before it had a name.

What’s wrong with this?

We need candidates who do what’s right for America, not candidates who pander to America’s baser instincts.

UFC is an animal sport with few controls.

Opponents regularly, bash in each other’s head before the referee steps in.

Choke holds are an everyday feature.

As are flying knee kicks to the head.

It’s not the same as boxing. It’s not the same at all.

There’s a difference between a knee to the head and a heavily padded fist.

UFC goes over the line.

It contributes to the violent culture that has consumed America.

So does Kid Rock ‘s music.

Classy.

All of this help lowers us to the status of animals. And when the ruling class sees us behaving as animals, they treat us like animals.

No wonder they (and their corporations) care so little about using your children as cannon fodder in foreign wars.

No wonder they can’t provide a decent and affordable healthcare system for regular working class people.

No wonder they don’t care about flooding your community with immigrants who are going to put a huge financial tax burden upon you.

No wonder they don’t care about resolving student debt.

No wonder they allow private equity groups to buy up nursing homes, saddle them with debt and force your grandparents to suffer.

Why should they care about that when they can control you through UFC 299, Kid Rock, and of course, know-it-all cool guys like Dave Portnoy.

I expect a possible future President of the United States to stand for something better than UFC, Kid Rock and Dave Portnoy.

Have a little class, please.

But this is Trump, and this is who he is.

He is the original Bro Culture warrior.

He will do anything to get the crowd excited, even if it’s not good for us.

I want a President, who does good, not a President who makes me feel good.

Feeling good doesn’t bring home the bacon.

Doing good does.
