Larry Kudlow: A Dangerous Man

Larry Kudlow is a dangerous man. 

He is crazy too. 

Every day he sits there on the air and delivers his poorly thought out one-sided sermons  to the American people. Yesterday he got on the air in his segment, called The Riff, and stated in so many words that Benjamin Netanyahu was the light and that this conflict in the Middle East was a war of light over darkness. 

Larry Kudlow reveled over the death of the Hamas “terrorist” Yahya Sinwar.  He said the world was a much better place because he was dead.

Can’t we say the same thing about “terrorist” Benjamin Netanyahu when he dies?  He’s killed over 50,000 Palestinians, far more than Sinwar has killed.  Larry Kudlow doesn’t mention that. He only talks about the thousand that were supposedly killed by Hamas.

Forget about the fact that many sources believe that it was the Israeli soldiers who killed much of their own people on October 7.

Larry Kudlow further stated that many of these Hamas leaders are living in Qatar. He says that if Qatar was a true friend they would hand over Hamas leaders to Israel so they could dispense justice.

Well, couldn’t we say the same about many Israeli leaders who are currently living in other countries as ambassadors or intelligence operatives?

Why shouldn’t they be handled over to Hamas for justice?

Larry then suggested that the United States should stay out of Israel’s way so that Israel can the  finish what it needs to finish.

Apparently, he thinks that the US is obstructing Israel. If we were obstructing Israel, Larry, then why did we just send a THAAD system to Israel? Why are we helping Israel shoot down Iranian missiles?  It doesn’t sound to me like we are obstructing Israel at all. 

Indeed, in fact, we have been overwhelmingly helping Israel for the last 75 years, and we will continue to do so.

Larry also states that Israel is winning the war. Maybe it is, but if so,  in what way is it winning the war? Maybe it is winning the war militarily, but what about economically?  And what will be the result for  Israel?

Will Israel be bankrupt after this series of wars that it is engaging in? War is expensive .  Or will the American people secretly pay the bill?

It seems logical to ask whether Americans will be asked to pay.

Winning the war. Didn’t we hear that back in Vietnam?

Weren’t we told by our leaders over and over again that we were winning?

Larry Kudlow every day hand delivers this message to the American people.

Israel is winning. We are winning.

Never a contrary word is heard.

But isn’t it time that we hear a contrary word instead of this steady drum beat of propaganda?

Maybe we should ask some questions first.

You know, war is a tricky thing. You start a war and you never know what you’re gonna end up with.  

There are always unintended consequences of war. What will those consequences be for the people of the United States of America – and for the people of Israel?

Maybe we will both bite off more than we can chew.

It’s always helpful in life to remember that no matter how strong you are you should never underestimate your opponent. That’s a pretty good rule in sports and in life.

Maybe Larry Kudlow should think about those things before he speaks.
