Ya, I used to believe in the beauty of America, and I suppose it is possible for some guy to come out of nowhere with no connections and rise to the top as a billionaire or hundred millionaire, then run for President and change the world, but I doubt it, and I am going to tell you why.
I’m a word: rebellion.
The elites who run the USA just are not going to take the chance that you with a significant amount of money are going to be able to finance a rebellion or movement against them.
As you grow in money and power the elites are going to find ways to entice you into their club.
It might be an invitation to meet some important people, or the opportunity to sit on one of their select committees.
They may put you on an advisory board to the CIA or the Pentagon.
Or you with a lot of money may choose to “buy” or donate your child’s way into Harvard or another fancy namebrand school.
Usually the second generation of the self-made oil man or supermarket maven finds their way into the Wharton School so that they can learn the refined techniques of growing the “family” business.
Through your children you’ll become embedded into the power structure.
Regardless, somehow you are going to be co-opted, after which you won’t be inclined to change anything.
And unless you implicitly or explicitly agree to be co-opted, you won’t get to the top of the top.
The elites aren’t going to take that risk.
Would King Louis have taken that risk?
No.
Now, let’s say that you’re not a finance or a business guy. Let’s say you are a scientist.
Let’s say you are Galileo or Copernicus.
Do you think that the elites are going to just let you rise to the top on your own and tell everybody the truth that challenges their teachings and lies.
Not a chance.
In fact they didn’t.
These two fellows were excommunicated by the ruling elite of the day, which was the church.
Rebels were not permitted.
These rebels dared to challenge the existing order.
Their thoughts were unapproved thoughts.
Let’s look at another guy, James Woods. I heard him state in an interview many years ago that he had no connections and that he came from nowhere.
I actually believed that; unfortunately it’s not true.
James Woods attended MIT.
Whether he knows it or not. JW had joined the club. And joining the club earns you perks.
His club membership opened doors for him.
I’m not saying he doesn’t have the talent. I think he’s a great actor.
The reality though is that the club, the Harvard Cartel got him to where he is today.
Maybe he is starting to recognize this as he writes his X posts criticizing the establishment’s positions.
Club membership has dues. If he continues to defy the Cartel the Cartel will take him down, especially if it’s an important issue dear to the elites.
Oh, so you don’t think they can do that because he is older and semi-retired? They took Bill Cosby down after he defied their plan to destroy the black community by asking black kids to dress right, speak right and integrate.
The elites can take down anyone, especially a Harvard graduate who has benefitted from the Cartel’s largesse.
Cornel West is an example of that.
West is a Harvard graduate who enjoyed many of the perks of the Cartel until he began supporting Palestinians. And then, just like that his Harvard tenure was denied.
Since then he has quieted down.
Why do you think so few celebrities – notoriously vocal about social issues – have failed to speak up for Palestinians?
Because they know that doing so is a death sentence to their careers.
They don’t want their book deals, movie contracts, and concert dates scuttled.
Celebrities enjoy being worth a hundred to two hundred million dollars. They love those personal Citation jets.
Their super-yachts too.
That’s why you don’t see billionaire Taylor Swift supporting the Palestinians. She loves that celebrity lifestyle.
That’s why you don’t see NFL stars speaking out either.
C’mon now, thousands of NFL players and no one can support the Palestinians?
Not one NFL player can see that Israel bombing Palestinians is like shooting fish in a barrel?
Do you get my drift here?
Don’t harbor any illusions. You aren’t going to rise to the top in this world and then upset the apple cart unless you get the approval and co-option of the elites.
It just isn’t going to happen.
So if you support the Palestinians, good for you, but get used to the every day life of being an average American.
So how did we get to this point?
What changed in America?
In a word: Vietnam.
Vietnam was a “managed war”, the first managed war that was fought for the purpose of making money for large corporations.
It was intended to be at minimum a twenty year war for the purpose of making money. It was irrelevant whether we won or not because the point was to make money.
That’s why it was fought with rules of engagement.
The war criminal, Robert “Project 100,000” McNamara, used his Harvard-honed business skills to guide the war into a chronic quagmire.
There is more money in a quagmire than a quick two-week war.
A funny thing happened on the way to the war though: people protested, and soon enough many celebrities joined in.
Soon the protests climaxed into an avalanche so much so that Nixon and Kissinger had no choice but to shut down the war.
Politically the war was destructive to their careers.
Corporate America and their bosses at the Harvard Cartel took notice.
They were unhappy about the war ending because ALL corporations make money off war because to fight a war you have to build a city the size of Corpus Christi (250,000) to fight that war. That means every single thing in the city has to be procured and built, and I mean everything – from asphalt to baked ziti.
It’s not just Raytheon that makes money. Burger King, Starbucks and McDonalds get in on the action also.
As Smedley Butler correctly pointed out decades ago: War is a racket.
Right then and there the elites in the Harvard Cartel decided that protests would never shut down their war scam again. And so the Cartel put a methodology in place to ensure that end.
Thus in the future celebrities would be controlled as would the media.
And so beginning in the 1980s massive mergering of the media began so that the Cartel could control who would hear what music.
Or who could speak only the approved opinions of the Cartel.
There wasn’t going to be any more Woodstock, or any of that Joan Baez, hippie, tree hugging peace bullshit ever again.
And so Corporate America began bundling everything together.
That’s when Clear Channel began.
Soon enough all the big record companies began consolidating every Tom, Dick and Harry operation so that a few people could control all the record labels.
The same kind of nonsense took place in the movie industry, television and print media.
It may look on the outside that you are dealing with hundreds of different publishers, labels and studios, but in reality you are dealing with a handful.
Private equity groups and hedge funds help consolidate the power even further.
As the media was consolidating, so were corporations of all stripes.
Rapidly but surely before our very eyes we were becoming the type of fascist state the Fuhrer would surely be proud of.
This consolidation of power helps the elites keep people in line, because if you say something in support of Palestine and get fired, where are you going to work?
Recently the other day doctors were fired from their corporate jobs for speaking in favor of Palestine.
I imagine this trend will accelerate as healthcare becomes ever more consolidated.
But it doesn’t end there. The elites needed to co-opt the politicians making them into full-time corporate lackeys.
They accomplished this through PACs which allow corporations to contribute massive amounts of money to political campaigns.
Corporate lobbying was another useful tool to get the politician in the fold.
Perks could be doled out to the politicians lazy and not up to par children. A $600,000 salary for being a part-time contributor at NBC was a real possibility.
The ignorant and corrupt fools, mostly Ivy League graduates, on the Supreme Court permitted this to happen by insisting that a corporation was a person although nobody has yet met a person who has lived more than 120 years.
Still, regular poor people can protest. So what did the elites do about that?
They used their natural leader types trained at the Ivy League to create phony irrelevant issues to help siphon off rage.
Just as the mighty Mississippi can be controlled though spillways to divert off raging floodwaters, so can the elites siphon off real rage into the false spillways of racism.
Corporate America would rather have you rage about the statues of Civil War generals than the useless wars in the Middle East and Ukraine which ultimately rob money from you through inflation and corporate greed. The elites sure don’t want you raging about COVID-19 or Palestine.
To prevent that they’ll find another George Floyd.
And that’s the way it is.
King Louis needs to rape you, to rob from you so that he can live in luxury.
That’s why you’re not going to come out of nowhere to the top in your lifetime – not unless King Louis owns you.
Entiendes?
Sincerely,
Archer Crosley
