Trump continues to dominate the Republican electorate which is proof that people can be fooled all the time, not just some of the time.
They vote for him because he makes them feel good. He doesn’t do any good, he just makes them feel good.
He does it through jokes, insults, and good old-fashioned entertainment.
People like to laugh.
Plus, he has the oligarchy behind him who have decided to prop up irrelevant, stupid and ultimately waste of time candidates, like Biden and Trump, who distract the people with Bread & Circus, so that the oligarchy can rob us blind while hiding within the shadows.
Well, if voters vote for Trump again, they truly are stupid. They are stupid, because Trump didn’t accomplish anything substantive when he was President. The first time around, he didn’t pass one major bill that was worth anything.
He didn’t reform healthcare. He didn’t bring down health insurance premiums. He didn’t pardon Julian Assange. He didn’t defend Alex Jones when Alex Jones was censored. He didn’t make any attempts to prosecute Hillary Clinton. He didn’t do anything for the infrastructure. He didn’t even build the wall which was a stupid idea in the first place.
The one thing he did accomplish, tax reform, wasn’t tax reform at all. All Trump did was move chairs around the room. True tax reform involves something on the order of a flat tax or a VAT tax.
He could’ve been a real leader in healthcare reform. He had the House and the Senate for two years. He could have pushed through a decentralized, competitive healthcare system which was affordable to all. Republicans had been barking about that for years.
Not only did he not effect substantive change in healthcare, he allowed one of the biggest mergers in healthcare ever, which was the CVS Caremark Aetna merger.
He should’ve been busting companies up, not allowing them to get bigger.
If he really had wanted to do something about immigration, he would have worked on giving the citizens of Central America a stake in the game. The reason they’re coming here is because Corporate America has made their lives miserable down there.
How about when he told us that he would be our voice? He didn’t do that either. He promptly hired a bunch of Goldman Sachs jerk offs to serve in his cabinet.
Instead of taking a sledgehammer to the CIA, he went down to Langley and genuflected before them. And that was probably because he never read a book detailing the crimes of the CIA.
Trump could’ve been a real force for change back in 2016.
Instead, Trump gave us jokes and insults.
So yes, Americans are stupid if they vote for him again.
