A New Strain

Currently there is a new strain of COVID-19 moving across the United Kingdom.

For that reason the devious or hapless Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, has shut the United Kingdom down again.

This lockdown is worse than the last.

I expect we will see this here in the United States as events in the two countries commonly parallel each other.

THEY, the all knowing THEY, say that this strain of virus is more contagious than the original COVID-19. What they don’t say is why. They just say that it is.

Well, I’m a skeptic, and I need to know why.

I’m thinking that our governments are lying again.

I suppose it is possible for a virus to have greater invasive speed into the respiratory epithelium than another virus.

I suppose it is possible for a virus to have certain tricks up its sleeve which make it more amenable to evading the immune system.

The problem with this approach is that any such mechanism still depends upon people interacting with each other.

People interacting with each other is going to be the rate limiting step.

Now, how is it possible for a virus to transmit faster than the original virus when everyone is already in some type of lock down?

Remember, the people of the UK are in a greater state of lockdown then they were eight months ago.

Plus more of them are accustomed to washing their hands and using hand sanitizer.

So how is it possible for this virus to transmit faster?

In my mind it isn’t possible. It’s just another example of the government relying on people’s lazy minds in order to spread its nonsense and propaganda.

As we said before, the governments of the United States and the United Kingdom are controlled by the same criminal cartel who have an agenda.

Their agenda is fascism.

They want to wipe out as many small businessmen as possible. They want everyone to be an employee of their giant corporations so that they can control people more easily.

The last thing they want are independent businessmen with money who might use that money to oppose their rule.

They see us, the small operator, as a threat to the planet even though it is they through their corporate products that have polluted the Pacific Ocean, polluted the Baltic Sea, polluted the rivers of Indonesia, and polluted the rivers of India.

They see us, the small operator, as a threat to wage equality even though it is they who have exploited and impoverished the peoples of Southeast Asia by paying them a grand total of six dollars per 13 hour workday.

They see us, the small operator, as a threat to wage equality, even though it is they who have enriched themselves en extremis by shipping our jobs out to China.

So to accomplish their goal of fascism and the universal basic income, which will produce poverty that will put Kolkata to shame, they will exaggerate the COVID-19 virus with half-facts and Nazi junk science.

Turn off your brains. This virus transmits faster. It is more virulent.

Now, today, THEY have not shown that this virus is deadlier. Nor have they shown that this virus will kill the young to the degree that it kills the elderly.

So if it does not, then why are we taking the same approach that did not work before?

If a virus can mutate in the face of a lockdown, in the face of a facemask, in the face of handwashing, then what is the point of doing any of these measures?

Of course, to the thinking individual, there is no point.

A rational person would conclude what every species on the planet has concluded since the beginning of time: unless we are dealing with a mortal threat to all people, the solution is for people to get along with their every day lives while protecting those who are most vulnerable.

There was no Louis Pasteur for cockroaches.

There was no Louis Pasteur for humanity 10,000 years ago.

Yet we are all here.

We are all here because our immune systems have evolved to handle all these various viruses. Our immune systems are the soldiers against infectious disease. We are the Louis Pasteurs.

Allowing the best Louis Pasteurs the world has ever devised to get on with their business is what will conquer COVID-19 and it’s various variants.

Our leaders, like Boris Johnson, are either devious or hapless. Either way they need to move out of the way.

Let the brave, the people, the ants, the unwashed, conquer this virus.
