Frances Haugen

The latest hot button issue with regard to Internet content has to do with Frances Haugen.

Francis Haugen was a Facebook data scientist, educated at Harvard, who has become a whistleblower.

She states that Facebook chooses profits over the public interest.

Big surprise.

She copied thousands of documents secretly from Facebook to support her claims.

She states that Facebook incites hatred.

She states that Instagram, which Facebook owns, harms adolescent girls and makes them more depressed. Young adolescent girls, according to her, are more likely to attempt suicide because of Facebook‘s algorithms.

She states that data from Facebook supports this.

I have no reason to doubt this. And the purpose of this article is not to challenge her findings.

To begin with, the story wouldn’t have seen the light of day if the powers that be, which includes Facebook, had not wanted it to see the light of day.

Facebook is part of the machine that rules the United States of America.

There is no separation between the mainstream media, Facebook and our United States government. They are one and the same.

Nothing substantive will come of these revelations.

Frances Haugen is just an unwitting part of that machine.

Ms. Haugen reminds me of Robert Choate.

Robert Choate was a wealthy, connected activist at large back in the 1960s who reported on the harmful effects of corporate cereal.

He said it was filled with sugar.

Corporations, according to Choate, were peddling obesity-engendering calories to kids.

He was right.

Kelloggs puts out junk.

So what? Was anything done about it?

No.

Not only was nothing done about it, other than labeling which nobody reads (or wants to read), other corporations took the lead and began infusing their products with high fructose corn syrup

That’s why we’re all so fucking fat.

The federal government couldn’t have cared less.

Obesity is a major problem in the United States. It contributes tremendously to morbidity and mortality.

The federal government hasn’t done anything about it, and they’re not going to do anything about it.

Likewise, the federal government isn’t going to do anything about Facebook and its harmful effects upon adolescents.

They won’t do anything about it because they don’t work for you anymore. They work for the wealthy elite.

Your country was hijacked a long time ago.

Your democracy is a sham. Your government is a sham.

The last thing that the wealthy elite want is a healthy citizenry that might one day rebel against their lousy leadership.

They are the new King Louis, and you are the hungry, tomato-hurling Parisian mob.

You will lose.

The dumber, the more obese, the more depressed the elites can make you, the better it is for them.

That’s why they don’t facilitate effective, affordable healthcare insurance for everybody.

It’s also why they outsourced jobs, why they permitted the OxyContin crisis to get out of control, why they promoted gambling, why they created a crummy superstar culture, why they enabled the subprime crisis of 2008, why they created the Savings and Loan crisis of the 1980s, why they facilitated the Dot.com bubble of the 90s, why they destroyed critical thinking in our educational system and replaced it with dumbed down standardized testing, why they imported drugs into the country during and after the Vietnam war, why they can’t win the war on drugs, and why they sat back on their asses and permitted corporate executive pay to escalate through the roof.

They want you drugged out, pacified, poor, and stupid.

Every generation has to figure this out for itself. It’s a revelation that only comes to you when you approach your 60s.

You need to be lied to repetitively over decades in order to understand what’s going on.

Since there’s a sucker born every minute, the young and middle-aged populations who have not come to this realization will always outnumber the elderly who have more experience.

Plus, there are always plenty of Pollyannas who fervently believe that Jesus will strike them dead if they have one negative thought about the authorities.

These are the people who sing God Bless America to themselves as America gets flushed down the toilet.

To restore faith in these otherwise good people, the machine must periodically blow the whistle on itself, to give people the idea and hope that peaceful reform just might be possible.

Thus Frances Haugen.

From here on, Francis Haugen will be the face of consumer activism.

She’s going to come out okay. Sure, she won’t be working for Facebook anymore, but that’s okay. She’s going to make a bundle on speaking engagements, book deals, and corporate board seats.

She will be feted on alternative media.

She will be a regular panelist sitting high above you on a dais.

She’s just another part of the Harvard clown show, unwitting, but still a part nonetheless.

No substantive changes will occur in Facebook.

Sure, Facebook will make some cosmetic changes, enough to satisfy Congress, but nothing of any substance.

Not only will things not improve, other corporations will take note and amplify the problem.

Our corporate-funded Congress won’t stop that either.

The goal of our ruling elite, dominated by Harvard and other Ivy League clowns, is to weaken you.

They’re the real enemy.

Facebook, also known as the United States Government Social Media Spy and Disinformation Program, is just a tool.

Sincerely,

Archer Crosley

Free Speech and the Genie

What can you say about free speech and the internet these days? How many times can you say free speech is free speech?

It’s a waste of time to keep talking when you say it once and the people you are talking to refuse to listen. Then you become the one who belongs in the loony bin.

These days, Google, Twitter and Facebook are synonymous with the United States government – a cruel, runaway, intolerant global killing machine that isn’t in the business of listening.

They don’t care.

Every age has its decaying orthodoxy, and our age is no different. Just as the Catholic Church five hundred years ago punished, condemned or excommunicated heretics such as Galileo and Copernicus for stating the obvious, so too do the leaders in our digital age shut down alternative media for daring to challenge their supremacy.

Just as the earth ceded its supremacy to the sun as the center of the solar system, so too did The New York Times cede its supremacy to alternative media as the paper of record, the bastion of truth . It’s tough for the elites to accept this. For too long they have had their way with the people. For too long they have been able to suppress legitimate movements with their fables.

This is no longer the case, and so they proclaim people like Alex Jones and other authors of alternative media sites as heretics, deliverers of fake news. When that does not suffice, these cardinals of the millennial church – Google, Twitter and Facebook – band together and excommunicate them.

In a word, they ban them. This was what excommunication meant in the Catholic Church; this is why it was such a big deal. In those days, the Church was the truth.

But truth can not be stopped.

Just as the printing press ushered in the Renaissance, so will the digital age and internet usher in a new Renaissance. It can not be stopped.

By punishing, condemning and self-censoring Galileo and Copernicus, the Catholic Church legitimized them. They were in effect saying: These people have something important to say, otherwise why would we be banning them?

So too with Alex Jones, Abby Martin, Peter Lavelle, the Hagmanns, Richie Allen, Jimmy Dore and many, many others. By banning them, Google, Twitter and Facebook legitimize them.

The genie is out of the bottle.
