Why Can’t America Fix Itself

Why is it increasingly not possible for America to correct itself?

It is less possible because we have increasingly shifted our method of receiving information from the written word to the spoken word.

We read less and watch more.

It’s a slow process that has taken place over the past 100 years.

The spoken word in today’s world involves presentation and camera presence.

When you read, you cannot see me; therefore you have to evaluate what I say based upon my words and how I put those words together.

Writing forces the author and the reader to think more carefully about the words before them. It takes longer to read, which gives both author and reader time to expose flaws in the argument written.

This is often lost to a television camera which embraces the immediacy and glamor of the moment.

In a television camera, my appearance overwhelms what I have to say. Whether I wear a suit or not makes a difference.

It shouldn’t.

But it does.

In a television camera how pretty I am overwhelms the value of what I have to say.

It shouldn’t.

But it does.

In a television camera how bombastic I am overwhelms the value of what I have to say.

It shouldn’t.

But it does.

Concomitant with these forces is that people who appear on television, especially on national television, are immediately sought after.

They command higher salaries and speaking fees.

And they make a shitload of money.

In time, if they last long enough, they ascend to Valhalla and become a so-called superstar.

This phenomenon is not lost on the public.

A competition then ensues to get on television, become famous, and make a lot of money.

This then engenders a drive to do anything at all costs to get on television.

One of the ways to get on television, and to stay there, is to say bombastic things.

The more bombastic you are, the more interesting you are to people.

What is often lost in this bombast is the truth.

Tyrants become even crazier.

The calm, rather boring person who has something worthwhile to say is soon relegated to the background.

People who study an area of endeavor their entire lifetime often don’t have the time to focus on style and presentation.

They also tend not to be bombastic.

They are too busy learning and reading.

Because they’re often rather boring people, their messages is rarely heard.

Let us use Iran as an example.

In the United States today there are thousands of experts on Iran.

Perhaps they have lived in Iran or one of their parents was from Iran. They may even speak Farsi. They probably do.

They are intimately familiar with the people of Iran and what shapes them. They know the economy, the terrain and the history.

Moreover they know how to get into the mind of the average Iranian and their leaders.

These people sit at home and watch ill informed television people bark about our mortal enemy Iran and the Revolutionary Guards.

They see United States policy moving down the wrong pathway, a disastrous pathway.

They sit there in despair and anger in their living room and fume.

They are dying to tell people the truth about Iran and what we need to do.

But their voice is not heard, and it will not be heard.

They may even try writing an article in a blog.

A few people may like what they have to say, but a few people is too few.

How can they compete with the bombastic experts who appear before us on Fox and CNN?

The geniuses who appear there are presumably experts about every political issue.

They are there night after night, and they are never at a loss for words.

How is this possible?

It’s not possible.

These people on CNN and Fox, these fake experts, are listened to because they speak in inflammatory language and dog whistle slogans which their fans drool over. Accordingly ratings rise which network moguls take note of. In response those guests are invited back to blow their dog whistle and speak more inflammatory words.

It’s a reverberating circuit of ignorance that imparts upon the listener a pseudo-expertise.

Think Adolf Hitler.

The fans of the show begin to think that they are experts because they listen to a fake expert speak about an issue.

But the fans are not experts.

Nor are the hosts and guests on these television programs.

The real experts sit at home and are not listened to.

They have no bombast. They are not pretty. They are boring people, but they have something valuable to say.

The truth is then lost, and our leaders who take their cue from these national television shows have no proper foundation upon which to base their decisions.

The results should be obvious.

Sincerely,

Archer Crosley

Lost Advice

Why don’t you the average American know the truth?

Have you ever wondered why?

There are plenty of people who can tell you how to manage any number of affairs in any area of endeavor.

Knowledgeable people are ready and willing to tell you how to get out of any problem that exists.

They’ve been out there all along.

So why don’t you know about them?

You don’t know about these people because of the clown culture we’ve created.

We’ve created a joke superstar culture that produces greedy, media obsessed carnival barkers, hucksters, show boaters and know nothings who muscle everyone out of their way in order to get to the megaphone.

The person who knows what’s going on is spending most of his time learning about his field or craft.

He doesn’t have the time, the skills, or the strength to fight these rude hucksters.

That knowledgeable man is being flattened and stampeded into obscurity.

I’m not sure precisely when this phenomenon began, but I do know that hosts like Sean Hannity enabled it.

Sean Hannity facilitated this joke culture when he hosted his All-American panel on his modestly named show Hannity.

On his All-American panel appeared football stars like Jay Feely and Lou Holtz. Those were Sean’s experts on world affairs.

Forget about professors who may have studied their entire lives about Iran, China or any other number of issues. Why would we want to consult those people when we have Lou Holtz and Jay Feely?

Sean Hannity helped end any type of reasonable, rational discourse on world affairs.

Of course, he wasn’t the only host to help the ignorant culture along.

There were plenty of other broadcasters who were more than willing to allow basketball coaches like Gregg Popovich to pontificate on race relations.

This is what passes for expertise in America today.

It is consistent with the infotainment model that Corporate America desires in order to maximize profits.

Coaches and celebrities get you higher ratings and therefore more advertising revenue.

It is this joke superstar culture that prompted the starstruck mayor of Minneapolis, Jacob Frey, to take a busy moment out of his day during the George Floyd riots to consult that noted sociologist and criminologist, Jay-Z.

I’m not joking.

This refusal to highlight true expertise is one of the reasons why America can’t correct itself.

You have a joke superstar culture created by Corporate America, fueled and spearheaded by Harvard University, that highlights joke expertise.

The people who know what to do, the people who have studied a particular area of endeavor their entire lives, simply aren’t listened to. They effectively don’t exist.

And if perchance they do find their way by luck on to main stream media, their advice is so different and startling to the low IQ, ratings-obsessed boob-hosts who exist there, that their advice is pooh-poohed, laughed at and derided.

Why is their advice so different and startling? Because they know what they’re talking about, because they offer solutions that are better than bandaids, and because they rarely get a chance to get on the air.

Let me give an example.

I listen to a lot of sports radio. I grew up in the Philadelphia area.

One day I was listening to sports radio in Philadelphia over the Internet. This was either Andy Reid’s last year or Chip Kelly’s first year.

The boob-host sportscaster was talking about the Eagles upcoming draft.

In Philadelphia there exists an aggressive symbiotic relationship between boob-hosts and boob-callers who reinforce each other’s ignorance.

The boob-hosts agree to spout their ignorant opinions, and the boob-callers agree to praise the boob-hosts when they call in. Anyone who doesn’t toe the line is derided and made fun of by the boob-host.

It is truly a reverberating circuit of ignorance. Every now and then, however, a real caller who knows something gets through.

This guy calls in, and I can tell over the radio that this is a guy who has played football his entire life at all levels. It’s obvious to me that he has played football, coached football, and is one of those guys who watches football to key in on offensive lineman to see if they hit or miss their blocking assignments. Confidence oozes out of his voice when he speaks.

He tells the boob-host that he and the other callers are looking in the wrong direction when it comes to who the Eagles should draft.

The boob-host immediately becomes perturbed and makes fun of the caller.

The caller responds by stating that the Eagles should be looking at this guy named Zach Ertz.

Clearly the boob-host has never heard of Zach Ertz, and so he starts to make fun of the caller.

After deriding the caller and ridiculing him, he boots him off the air while saying: “Yeah, right. Zach Ertz. Sure.”

Well, as it turns out, the caller knew what he was talking about.

So why don’t we get many callers like this?

Because our joke culture encourages and rewards boobs, hustlers, carnival barkers, and know nothings to muscle their way to the megaphone in order to say nothing.

And the crowd cheers.

Rush Limbaugh

What do I think of Rush Limbaugh?

I listened to Rush Limbaugh for a long time, not regularly though.

I listened to him more so in his early days.

But then I stopped listening.

I remember him best from the 1990s when he had his television show.

He would open the show by saying: America held hostage, day 43 of the Clinton Presidency.

I would eat that stuff up.

Rush was giving me exactly what I wanted to hear.

And there in lies the secret to the success of Rush Limbaugh. He told his true believers what they wanted to hear.

Now, whether you like him or hate him, you cannot deny that he was number one. He was the Elvis of talk radio commentators.

Even people on the left listened to him. In fact, I would wager to say that Rush Limbaugh had more followers from the left than listeners on the right.

Listeners on the right, of course, knew what Rush was going to say and so took him for granted.

But not listeners on the left. Listeners on the left listened to him because they knew he was going to say something outrageous, and they couldn’t wait to get mad at what he was going to say.

They wanted to get mad, and Rush knew it.

To tease the left he would ever so carefully enunciate the name Barack Hooo-Sane Obama in a musical yet comical manner.

Rush never failed to disappoint. Well, I should modify that. He never failed to disappoint the people who were ready to love or hate what he was going to say.

Alas, I got older. And as I got older, I got wiser.

I came to see that Rush was not always correct.

I also came to see that Rush was part of the establishment.

What turned the tables for me? Probably when Rush showed up on Family Guy.

So, that’s what it’s all about, I said to myself at the time.

Rush just wants to be part of the clique.

He wants to be part of the in-crowd.

If he were really a rebel, I reasoned, he wouldn’t cozy up to those people at all.

But he did cozy up to those people. He cozied up to not only the people on the left, but the RINOs on the right.

If he were a true populist conservative, he would not have broken bread with them.

He would not have accepted their dog biscuits.

As the years went by, I came to see that when push came to shove, Rush always asked us to vote for the lesser of two evils in the Presidential election.

Yet I didn’t want to vote for the lesser of two evils anymore.

I didn’t care anymore when people would say: Oh, if you vote for that third-party candidate your vote won’t make a difference.

Au contraire, I would say, it will make a difference in my life because I will be able to look at myself in the mirror in the morning for having done the right thing.

I think that Rush’s recommendation to settle for the mediocrity that the Republicans offered up every four years was what finally turned me away from him.

I listened to him less and less.

I came to see that the real battle in America was not between right and left but between big and small.

The proper battle was between we small, populists – right and left – who believe in a small America with limited government and the elitist big boys, the corporate pigs, who had taken over both the Democratic and Republican parties.

I also came to see that people like Rush Limbaugh who benefit off the national agenda are not our friends, but agents of Corporate America.

Did I really think that Corporate America was going to sit by and allow a conservative talkshow host to make $700 million while influencing millions of Americans if he was not stating their message?

Do you see what I’m talking about?

Rush Limbaugh was part of the system. He was part of the swamp. He kept the phony narrative of right versus left going.

And so it’s not surprising today that politics is so divisive between the left and the right.

It need not be.

Yet it is, and a big reason for that is Rush Limbaugh.

Sincerely,

See Ya

Let’s restrict advertising in the United States.

Why not?

Why should we have our minds polluted on a daily basis by messaging that comes from the likes of Edward Bernays?

Why should we have our minds subliminally influenced?

Isn’t that a violation of the fourth amendment which speaks of unreasonable search and seizure.

Yes, I understand that the amendments to the US constitution pertain to the government, but what if the government fails to regulate business properly? Isn’t it then the government that is behind the businesses who are invading our minds? Doesn’t the government give sanction to these immoral businesses and corporations who are influencing us?

Suppose the government slyly allows a business to influence us on its behalf and then fails to regulate that business.

Furthermore, isn’t uninvited advertising similar to cigarette smoke?

If we are going to ban cigarettes because uninvited smoke is malevolently influencing our lungs, why can’t we ban uninvited advertising that is infecting our minds?

What would be the ramifications of putting limits on advertising within mass media?

Google would go away. The profits of Google would evaporate.

The television networks would have to focus on quality for a change. No longer would they be able to rely on big corporations paying them big bucks to influence us to buy idiotic things and ideas we don’t need – like the Domino Theory, like the Pancaking Theory.

Big business would take a hit.

The government would take a hit. No longer would the government be able to persuade us so easily to fight useless foreign wars.

Lazy politicians who refuse to meet their constituents would take a hit.

Politicians would actually have to go out and meet people face-to-face.

Who would be the winners?

Well, the American people would be protected to a better extent from the relentless hucksters on television.

Americans would be not paying the sports tax where overly paid sports stars make hundreds of millions of dollars courtesy of big corporations who place a surcharge on their products in order to pay for network advertising.

Ditto regarding the fake superstars in the music and movie industries.

Without the huge money from advertising, the big networks and their big boy friends would not be so big anymore. This would allow small timers to compete with the big boys regarding the news. And we all know that the news is there to deliver the truth, a commodity in short supply these days when it comes to main stream media.

Consequently, Americans would receive better government. The polarization of wealth in America would reverse itself.

The McDonaldization of America would stop in its tracks. Regions would gain more individuality and salt.

Everything on the national stage would take a hit. The big banks would be not so big anymore. The large corporations would not be so large anymore.

The best thing about getting rid of advertising is that America the Empire would stop.

Ultimately, America would become a Republic again.

And that would be a good thing.

Say goodbye, Edward.

Sincerely,

Lies

One of the reasons why we have so many problems in our world today is because our history is weaved for us by a pack of liars who are controlled by Corporate America.

Then our main stream media reads from the fantasy Hollywood script that is given to them. Millions of Americans listen to this story and accept it is as truth.

Consequently, America is a land of myths; and it began for you in first grade when your teacher told you that George Washington threw a Silver dollar across the Potomac River. Now, you know this can not possibly be true. You also know that it is not true that George Washington never told a lie. Nevertheless the seed was planted.

As you grew up, more lies were told to you. In fact, probably everything that you think you know about America is not true. Here are some of the lies.

The Pearl Harbor attack by the Japanese was an unprovoked, sneak attack. This is not true. FDR and Henry Stimson provoked the Japanese to attack Pearl Harbor, they knew the Japanese were going to attack Pearl Harbor, and they let it happen. In addition Henry Stimson wrote in his diary that he was relieved that the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor.

FDR was a traitor to his class. No, FDR was not a traitor to his class. In fact, our elites never had a better friend than FDR who transformed the government from a small racket to a big racket. With the government expanded beyond comprehension, the elites were free to rape the American public with one war after another in which Corporate America takes its disproportionate share of the deficit spending necessary to fight the useless wars abroad.

A lone assassin, Lee Oswald, assassinated JFK. This is not true. The CIA killed John F. Kennedy because they did not like his vision of the world. He wanted America to be a partner to the other countries of the world. Our Neanderthal bullies in Corporate America had other ideas. The dysphoric, fascist world you live in today has come about because JFK was assassinated.

America landed a man on the moon. No, America did not land a man on the moon. America did not have the technology to land a man on the moon. America had slightly more than the technology of a transistor radio. America did however have the technology to fake a moon landing. The reason why America claimed to have landed a man on the moon was to sell the American system. Our elites were terrified that nonaligned countries would side with the Soviet Union. Landing a man on the moon would prove to the world that our system was superior.

America fights wars to save democracy. Nothing could be more laughable, and nothing could be further from the truth. America fights wars for the elites to make a pile of money, and, if they win the war, to make even more money by exploiting the people in that foreign country. What America does exceptionally well is propping up dictators for the purpose of exploiting the people in that country. Wherever America goes, poverty follows, followed in time by an insurgency which the United States feels obligated to put down via military intervention – which of course makes our elites even more money.

The World Trade Center was taken down by Saudis who rammed jets into the building. No, the World Trade Center was built to withstand an attack by a jet. Responsible engineers will tell you that the jets did not take down the buildings. Jet fuel can no more melt steel than your backyard barbecue can melt your Weber grill. The buildings were taken down by controlled implosion in order to justify our intervention in the Middle East.

These are just a few of the major lies that have been dictated into your brain by our elites.

Are you dispirited?

You shouldn’t be. You should never be dispirited when you discover the truth. Once you know the truth, you can then begin to harvest a new life and a new world far better than the former.

Sincerely,

Archer Crosley

Blasphemy

Twitter has banned tweets from Scott Atlas because he said that masks don’t work in preventing coronavirus infections.

Really?

According to the healthcare professionals at Twitter, one may not make false or misleading statements with regard to the coronavirus when so-called researchers and authorities have determined the truth about the virus.

Doing so would be, of course, blasphemous.

Well, Captain Twitter, what if the authorities are wrong?

What if the authorities have their head up their ass?

What if the public health authorities are mindless repeaters who say things that are politically safe in order to gain favor with the immoral government that has an agenda for promoting the face mask?

What if the public health authorities have been seduced by the powers that be into going along with their program?

What if the public health authorities are dominated by malicious grade hounds and social climbers who never had an original thought in their life?

What if the public health authorities are going along just as the German physicians went along with the Nazis in the 1930s?

What if the face mask is junk science just as phrenology was junk science in 1930s Germany?

What if the studies that the public health authorities use are flawed?

Now, with that stated, what is Twitter’s role as an organization? Are they merely a neutral conveyor of information such as AT&T or Verizon? Or are they a full-fledged news organization that is responsible for the content that exists on their platform?

If they are a news organization, then shouldn’t they be interested in hearing all sides of the debate?

If they aren’t, then what does that say about them?

Of course, that’s a rhetorical question; we already know the answer to that.

Twitter, like Facebook, like YouTube is an extension of the federal government. There is no difference.

What these news organizations will give you is the approved news that the government wants you to see.

Unapproved news is banned

Unapproved news is blasphemous.

Welcome to the 1500s where an elite group of wise men in the church decided what was permissible.

Of course, we are talking about the secular church instead of the Catholic Church, but it’s the same thing.

It’s exactly the same thing.

These so-called wise men who lead Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube are one and the same with the government.

When Twitter excommunicates people who speak out against the face mask or the lockdown, it’s the government that’s doing the banning.

Your government is playing a game with you when they pretend that the Internet giants are separate from them.

They aren’t.

Government hasn’t lifted one finger to enforce our constitutional right of free speech on YouTube, not one finger.

Given that, why hasn’t government, which controls AT&T, banned individuals from talking on the phone if they said something government didn’t like.

What’s the difference?

The difference is that on the Internet, on Twitter, on Facebook, on YouTube you can reach a wider audience.

That scares the government.

The government doesn’t want anyone interfering with its bullshit.

Yet what the government says is bullshit.

Just yesterday it seems as if the elites in the secular church de- platformed The Last American Vagabond.

The Last American Vagabond was regularly putting out information exposing the government’s bullshit.

I will have to assume that the straw that broke the camels back was when the host mentioned Sweden.

Sweden is a dirty word these days on main stream media and on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube.

Sweden, you see, stands as a testament against the lies that the government and their bedfellow the Internet giants have been slamming down our throats.

Sweden had the guts and the audacity to defy the elites. Sweden chose to go for herd immunity and has been successful so far.

You are not allowed to know this. This is unapproved news.

This is blasphemous.

So, when someone speaks unapproved news, like Scott Atlas, like the Last American Vagabond, if they have a big enough platform, that platform gets taken away.

Sincerely,

Archer Crosley
