Big Mike’s Christmas Letter

Dear Big Mike,

In the spirit of  the holiday season and the brand of Jesus Christ you admire, I’d like to kick your ass and punch your head into nothingness; however, since such an event is unlikely, this epistle must suffice.

I hope this holiday season, as you are sitting down with your children in front of the Christmas tree , you will keep the cholera-ridden children of Yemen in your thoughts.

This would be fitting as you helped engender this epidemic by supporting the Saudi royal family.

As to why the Persian Gulf is necessary to the interests of the United States anymore given the massive production of oil and green energy that is currently taking place in the world is anyone’s guess. Perhaps you are addicted to war.

Certainly you are not addicted to dieting as your waistline attests.

Nevertheless, as you partake of hot chocolate and warm Christmas cookies, which will undoubtedly broaden your unhealthy waistline, I trust you will think of the 400,000 Syrians that died at the hands of you and the murderous regime you represent.

Let’s not forget the millions of Syrian refugees who live in tents. How would you like to live in a tent this Christmas, Big Mike?

No?

I didn’t think so.

Well, how about if we say a prayer for those people in their time of need, something to buck them up.

I know a passage.  Let’s try Psalm 37. That’s one of my favorites.

I think about you when I read Psalm 37.

Here are a few excerpts.

The wicked plot against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them; but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he knows their day is coming.

They’re talking about you, Big Mike.

Here’s another passage.

Turn from evil and do good; then you will dwell in the land forever.  For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed; the offspring of the wicked will perish.  The righteous will inherit the land and dwell in it forever.

I hope you will take the time to read this to your children this Christmas Eve, Big Mike, before you go out caroling.

Lastly, let us not forget our Savior, Jesus Christ, for whom we celebrate Christmas.

Jesus said: Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.

Hmm.  I’m confused, Big Mike.  Wasn’t Jesus talking about peace?

He must have been because according to Wikipedia, you told a church group that Christians needed to “know that Jesus Christ as our savior is truly the only solution for our world.”

Huh, I guess you forgot to tell your pal, Mama Gina, when she threw those guys in coffins in order to torture them.

Yep, she threw in some cockroaches to sweeten the pot.

Is it true that she stamped her feet and sung the Horst Wessel Lied?

Say, Mike, how you would like to spend time in a coffin this Christmas?

Well, let’s all hope that never happens.

That wouldn’t be very Christmasy.

Our Way of Life

Sometimes I worry that I won’t have anything to write about.  But then a knucklehead shows up on television from either the right or left to say something stupid.

If you are young, let me save you years of frustration.  All politicians are knuckleheads, and very few of them have the guts to ask critical questions.

Just when you think you’ve found someone you think is smart, you’ll find he isn’t.

Just today, I heard a Republican repeat the tiresome lie that we were attacked on 911 because “they” didn’t like our way of life.

Putting aside the truth which is that the WTC was brought down by controlled implosion, not jets, let’s assume that “they” equals the Saudis.

Now, what would Saudis know of our way of life?

The average Saudi lives under a despotic regime supported by the United States.  The average Saudi in those days had virtually no internet and little western television.

So what would the average Saudi know of our way of life?

Was it those reruns of Gunsmoke that riled them up?

Unlikely.

The only Saudis who would know of our way of life are those Saudis who studied in the US and Europe and who came to see that it was our CIA that was propping up the Saudi thugs who ruled their people with an iron fist.

Ah.

So that’s what’s they would know of America.

Our elites are clever, right.

They cleverly blamed you for the 911 attacks.  It was you the immoral American who caused the 911 attacks, not the immoral CIA.

Ha ha, the joke’s on you.

Now you get to laugh along with the Saudi people who have been subjected to the cruel joke of despotism foisted upon them for the past seventy years.

What did Osama bin Laden say after the 911 attacks?

He said that now America gets a taste of its own medicine.  They get to experience what Saudis have been living under.

Of course, bin Laden underestimated our elites and how truly wicked and twisted they are.

He fought for a better Saudi Arabia just as many of our politicians fight for a better America.

Unfortunately, the elites in both America and Saudi Arabia aren’t fighting for a better world for us but for them.

Which is why they took down the WTC and used the idealistic Saudi youth as foils.  The wicked elites rigged the WTC with explosives and then engineered the plot. All they had to do was wait for the jets to hit, wait an hour or two and then detonate.

I’m sure the Saudis really did think they were the only ones in on the plot.

It’s not that difficult to do when you control the levers of power, the military and the media.

The media?

The media was ready to go with its narrative which was:  They don’t like our way of life.

Sure.

Conspiracy Theorists

I’m wondering why the Washington Post cares about what really happened to Jamal Khashoggi.

The Saudis say that he was accidentally killed after engaging in fisticuffs with an unspecified Saudi citizen.

Afterwards, they say, he was cut up into pieces and disposed of to disguise what really happened.

Several patsies, er, culprits have been arrested.

What’s wrong with that explanation?

It’s not too far off the mark from the flimsy excuse our elites gave after killing  JFK.

Our corporate leaders didn’t like JFK so they got rid of him.  He was messing with their money.

Mohammed bin Salman didn’t like Khashoggi, so he got rid of him.

What’s the difference?

Isn’t this what governments do?

Isn’t it in the prerogative of any government to make up silly but barely plausible explanations for their assassinations?

We did.

We blamed the Kennedy assassination on one guy.

Isn’t what’s good for the goose good for the gander?

The Washington Post didn’t give and still doesn’t give two fucks about the truth of the Kennedy assassination, so why should they care about Khashoggi?

They need to get with the program and stop being conspiracy theorists.

Why, the idea!

To think that fifteen Saudis could meet at the Saudi Embassy before Khashoggi got there is totally ridiculous.

That would require too much sophistication.

Somebody would have talked by now.

You can’t keep something like that secret.

What about deathbed confessions?

Conspiracy?

Hah!  Clearly the Washington Post is engaging in delusional crackpot thinking.

The Saudi Way

The faux  outrage over Mr. Jamal Khashoggi’s disappearance in the Saudi Arabian consulate in Turkey would be humorous if it weren’t so tragic.

Mr. Khashoggi  is a dissident journalist of sorts from Saudi Arabia.  He is a connected individual who dares to ask for reforms in the Saudi government.

That’s always a mistake.

The Saudi government a few years ago issued a sentence of 1000 lashes plus ten years in prison to a young Saudi, Raif Badawi, for daring to suggest Internet liberalization for Saudis.

He was also fined.   Now, there’s the real deterrent.

He received 50 lashes which debilitated him.  Thus far the remainder of the sentence has been  compassionately postponed.

The US government who backs the Saudi government lock, stock and barrel doubtlessly intervened.

Public perception is important in the United States.

Which is why they are issuing fake concern over Mr. Khashoggi’s disappearance.

Our government understands that nobody in the mainstream media gives a damn about regular citizens in Yemen who are being slaughtered en masse by a US-backed Saudi regime.  But they do care about one of their own – Mr. Khashoggi  is a Washington Post contributor – who is killed in a Saudi consulate.

Why that could have been one of them.

Plus, Mr. Khashoggi is a member of the club.  Members get cared about; regular people in Yemen are insignificant.

The US government in response to the story of Mr. Khashoggi’s disappearance – he was probably sliced and diced – deplores the situation and issues statements of concern.

That’s a joke because the US government is solidly in favor of what the Saudi government does.  That’s why the Saudi Kingdom is there – to keep the people in line.

I wouldn’t be surprised if our CIA help plan Mr. Khashoggi’s death.

Why?

The United States government has no desire whatsoever for the Saudi people to be free.

Free people call for responsible governments, and a responsible government in Saudi Arabia just might decide that the United States is not entitled to receive oil on demand.

The people of Saudi Arabia are oppressed  today just as were the people of Iran under the US backed Shah.

We in the US love dictators; and we certainly don’t need people like Mr. Khashoggi  throwing a wet blanket on our party.

You’ll hear a lot of talk and blather about US-Saudi relations being strained. But it’s all bullshit. Nothing will happen to our relationship.

It will be business as usual.
