The Price of Fame

Why is Cardi B famous?

I know that she’s a talented gal, but why is she famous?

She’s famous because the elites said that she would be famous.

Period.

That’s the way the elites are. If they don’t want you to be famous, you aren’t going to be famous.

Our elites are sick, but that’s the way it is.

And there’s a reason why it is the way it is.

Our elites cannot afford to have famous people who they do not control.

Famous people have influence. That’s why the elites control famous people.

The very last thing that the elites want is a famous person who they do not control who will sway the masses against them.

Our athletes are evil, but they aren’t stupid.

That’s why the vast majority of the famous people you see you today are puppets of the elites.

They don’t want their record deal canceled.

They don’t want their concerts canceled.

They are still young and desirous of making money.

In addition to that, they’ve got a good thing going.

They’re making tens of millions if not hundreds of millions of dollars.

They’re no sucker.

They’re not going to give up that cash cow.

The only people who the elites can’t fully control are the older celebrities who aren’t interested in making any more money.

They have already made her money.

But trust me, if even one of these older celebrities becomes too popular and gets in the way of what the elites want, the elites will go out of their way to destroy that individual.

That’s one of the reasons they went after Bill Cosby.

Bill Cosby was telling black youth to dress right, speak right, and to integrate in society.

Bill Cosby understood that rage and gangster culture wasn’t going to cut the mustard. He wanted to see black folk compete in the white man’s world.

He understood that black folk could compete and win because he lived it.

It’s pretty much the same message that Booker T. Washington gave over 100 years ago.

The elites don’t want that though.

The elites don’t want black folk to integrate at all, at least not the black folk who live in the inner city.

The elites need the black folk to serve as prisoners for their Corporate Prison racket.

The gangster culture, drug culture, rap music, hip-hop music is an important component in ensuring that black folk, and increasingly white folk, are focused on lifestyles that aren’t going to present a threat to the ruling elite.

Who is making a fortune off the gangster culture?

The ruling elite.

They own the celebrities. They own the radio stations. They own the record companies. They own it all.

Who made Cardi B and her vile music mainstream?

The ruling elite.

Who made Cardi B fabulously wealthy?

The ruling elite.

Who promoted gangster culture in the movies?

The ruling elite.

Who promoted drug culture in the movies?

The ruling elite.

Who loses in all of this?

Primarily poor folk in the inner city who have already had their communities devastated by drugs.

What poor folks, black and white, need desperately are education and positive role models within the community.

The celebrities could make a tremendous difference to the people who live in devastated communities.

Why don’t you see celebrities with all their hundreds of millions of dollars setting up their own apparel factories to employ poor black folk in the inner city?

Why should LeBron James with all his fame shill for Nike shoes when he can set up a shoe factory in the inner city and do kick ass business?

If he did, he would be fulfilling the dream of Marcus Garvey who wanted to set up corporations owned by blacks, run by blacks to do for blacks what white people wouldn’t do.

So what’s the hold up here?

The holdup is that the elites don’t want that. They don’t want free enterprise in the black community.

Free enterprise in the black community would threaten their welfare plantation racket. Plus, if black folks had money, their families would prosper. Prosperous families are less likely to commit crimes because they don’t need to commit the crimes. Prosperous families who don’t commit crimes are a threat to the Corporate Prison racket that the elites are running.

If LeBron James made a serious effort at opening up his own shoe and apparel company in the inner city, the elites would squash him like a bug.

The same goes for Cardi B. The elites made her, and they can break her.

If she opened up in apparel company that was transforming unemployed welfare recipients into wage earning, prosperous citizens who were less likely to commit crimes, the elites would squash her like a bug.

That’s the way it is.

But that’s not the way it has to be.

Sincerely,

Archer Crosley

Awards, God and Life

If you are young, I would like to disabuse you of any penchant you may have for winning awards.

They are are useless, worthless, and even dangerous – especially those coming from an authority.

Avoid them.

You are far more valuable than an award.

Don’t let King Louis value your life for you.

Don’t accept his dog biscuits.

King Louis has an agenda.

You must find solace and peace of mind in the work that you do, in the value that you feel you add to the community, and how you feel God feels about your work.

That is what will sustain you.

If you wait for the approval of others to validate your life, you will become ever more frustrated and miserable.

There are many great actors in Hollywood who have never won an Academy Award.

One such actor who could have easily won an award for just about any role he played is Nick Nolte.

He has been nominated several times, but he has never won.

He could have easily won for the Prince of Tides. He also could have won for The Thin Red Line. He was astonishing in the latter film.

So why didn’t he win?

The high road states that there are many deserving people and that someone must prevail.

The real answer is that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has its head up its ass.

It really does.

Years ago, Will Smith was upset that he did not win an Academy Award.

I was in his corner.

Still, he shouldn’t have been upset.

He shouldn’t have been upset because the Academy has failed to honor so many great actors.

If I had been standing beside him I would have told him: Will, you are too important to win.

This was the advice given to a famous scientist who was disconsolate because he has not won a Nobel Prize.

The same advice could be easily given to many Hollywood actors.

The Academy really doesn’t know who the good actors are.

And there’s a good reason for this.

Many of the people who vote haven’t seen all the movies and all the performances.

Many of those same people aren’t movie fans.

Still others vote for political purposes or because they think they are supposed to vote a certain way.

The run with the pack.

Years ago I hired a publicist to help me promote a book that I had written.

We got to talking about the movies that were currently up for Academy Awards.

She informed me that she had a piece of a vote. Yes, you heard me right. A vote can be divided amongst several people.

After a few minutes, it became increasingly clear to me that while I had seen nearly all the movies, she had only seen one or two.

In those days I was seeing approximately 100 to 150 movies per year.

That was the state of affairs in the early 90s. It’s that way today.

Many of the people who are voting for the awards are woefully unaware of what they are voting for, in any industry, which is why waiting for an award and approval from others can be a lifetime of frustration.

Indeed, I’m not sure that you want to win an award at all.

Receiving that award might change your attitude toward your work and the confidence you have in yourself.

It’s always better to be a little hungry in life.

So forget the awards.

Focus on the job itself. Place one foot in front of the other, and focus on giving value to the people who you are serving.

Let that be your award.

In the end you will be the winner.

You will be your own man as well.

Sincerely,

Archer Crosley

Robert De Niro, Molecular Biologist

You’ll be happy to know that Robert De Niro has more sway over your family members than you do.

That’s right.

Robert De Niro has more influence on your family members than do you. I don’t care what your field is, Robert de Niro knows more.

Whether you are a baker, a candlestick maker, nuclear physicist, a doctor, or a molecular biologist, Robert knows more than do you.

More importantly your family members will take their cue from him.

Forget about all your years of training.

Forget about all the toil and sweat that you invested in becoming a master of your craft.

Robert De Niro knows more.

This is the consequence of our idiotic superstar culture.

You may be wondering now what I am talking about, and so I shall tell you.

As you may have already deduced from some of the columns I have written, I am a pediatrician.

I have been practicing pediatrics for over 38 years now.

It seems logical to me that I may have learned a thing or two.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic has begun, I have written more than just a few articles regarding COVID-19.

While communicating my opinions to the public at large, I have also communicated my opinions to my two sisters who, are family members, and who come from the same womb.

I do not like Dr. Fauci. I think Dr. Fauci is a devious liar who fronts for Corporate America.

Unlike the talking heads on television, I don’t need to rely on studies to justify my opinions because I am the study. I have worked in healthcare for over 3 1/2 decades. I don’t need a study in order to support what I say.

Now, you would think that this would carry some weight with my two sisters.

Let me assure you that it does not.

Just yesterday I received a group text from one of my sisters. She was talking about her grandson. She stated that she was taking care of her grandson who was sick. Then she related, in so many words, that he’d had a COVID-19 test and that it was negative. Then, in near morbid relief, she says: Thank God!

Now, I have told her numerous times that the risk of complications from COVID-19 to children is near zero.

Zero.

Her grandson, who has no underlying medical problems, has a near zero chance of having any complications from COVID-19.

And yet she is acting as if her grandson had dodged a LAWS missile.

Why would my sister react this way?

Why would she think that her grandson would be in danger?

I’ll tell you why.

Robert De Niro, molecular biologist. Robert De Niro, specialist in infectious disease.

This is the consequence of the idiotic superstar culture we have built up in the United States.

Your family members who come from the same womb are more likely to believe Robert De Niro, no matter what the issue is, than you in your field of expertise.

Robert De Niro has of course, no expertise in these various areas.

What Robert De Niro knows is acting, perhaps movie direction, and the business of making movies.

Of course, I could be speaking unfairly. Who knows the true skills of this amazing man.

Maybe Robert De Niro is a molecular biologist on the side. Maybe he has been shielding this from us. Maybe he has a secret lab in the basement of one of his mansions. Maybe he, under a pseudonym, has written highly technical papers on membrane receptors.

It’s possible.

But is it likely?

No.

Since it is not likely, and since the majority of the people in the United States now take their understanding of COVID-19 from Robert De Niro, what are the consequences of this?

You figure it out.

Sincerely,

Archer Crosley

Tiger Woods

Hey, did you hear about Tiger Woods?

This is the new national obsession.

How about this one? I don’t care more about Tiger Woods than I would anyone else, and neither should you.

As a matter of fact, you should go out of your way to not care about Tiger Woods.

Why is that?

Because when we care more about Tiger Woods than Joe Chickenfeed, then we are in real trouble in this nation.

Who is Joe Chickenfeed? Well, Joe Chickenfeed could be anyone. He could be you.

Joe Chickenfeed could be any of the other thousands of people who were in a car accident yesterday.

Do we care about them?

Oh, I can hear you say, but Tiger has contributed so much to society.

Sorry, my friend, I don’t buy into that.

That’s part of the problem we have in this country – this idiotic movers and shakers type society.

Tiger Woods doesn’t contribute any more to society than the man who runs the corner convenience store.

That’s the way our country was set up. Our founding fathers did this intentionally. They set it up this way because they knew that societies run by elites die off pretty quickly.

The life blood of American society comes from regular people who don’t look like much and unfortunately don’t count for much in our ridiculous superstar world.

You caring about Tiger Woods any more than anyone else is dangerous to the affairs of the country.

When you care more about Tiger Woods, you are contributing to the idiotic superstar culture which contributes to this massive polarization of wealth in our country.

There is no justification for it. Indeed, it violates the social covenant that we have with each other in which we agree to not rip each other off too badly. How would you feel if I as a pediatrician was paid $5 million for diagnosing your son’s appendicitis? How would you feel if we paid a fireman $10 million for running into a burning building?

I’m pretty sure that you would say that’s a little unfair.

You would be right. It is unfair. It violates the social covenant we have with each other.

The only reason we permit these celebrities to make these fabulous salaries is because we’ve been conned into believing that they are not human, that they are above us.

They are not.

Moreover, when these individuals are elevated into demigod status, the corporate elites will then use these fake superstars to herd the masses into the cattle pens of opinion that the elites desire.

This is exactly how the elites are controlling people to get their way in the United States of America.

This is why your senators and representatives do not listen to you.

This is why the state of California is a disaster area.

Currently the state of California runs on plebiscites, known as propositions.

The reason why California runs this way is because there isn’t sufficient representation. Because there isn’t sufficient representation, the senators and representatives listen to plebiscites.

And who controls the outcome of the plebiscites?

Morning talk show host-boobs and the celebrity superstars who appear on their programs.

Valerie Bertinelli will now comment.

She is important. You are not. If you were important, you would be on television. You are not on television hence you’re not important.

You’re stupid senators and representatives listen to these celebrity comments and interpret that as the public’s opinion.

Your representatives do not listen to you; they take their cue from the superstar.

More importantly, there are millions of boobs out there who will go along with what ignorant celebrities have to say.

These are the crowds screaming for Barabbas.

They will vote accordingly.

And so in this manner Corporate America can control public opinion.

They can do this because so many people have been beaten down into serfdom. So many people have been beaten down into thinking that these celebrities are demigods.

Many years ago I was in Las Vegas. I was ascending to my room when this one young man pops into the elevator. He begins to breathlessly tell us that he is staying in another hotel in Las Vegas. Overcome with emotion, he says to us in a giddily euphoric but quiet voice as if he is letting us in on a secret: “Gwyneth Paltrow is staying in our hotel.”

Who gives one solitary fuck?

I don’t know any way to defeat this superstar culture except to defeat it.

You have to stop caring about Tiger Woods anymore than you would any one else.

In summary then do I care about Tiger Woods and his car crash?

I can’t afford to care.

And neither can you.

Sincerely,

Archer Crosley
