Baseball is Finished

I’ve told you before that Rob Manfred will ruin baseball.

It’s not a question of if but when.

Next year the San Diego Padres will place advertising on their uniforms.

They plan to advertise for Motorola.

I can’t think of a worse idea.

I view a baseball stadium as a church, a temple.

To me it is a sacrosanct refuge in a horrible world.

It is a quiet place where I can relax my mind, refresh my spirit.

The less noise there is, the happier I am.

I don’t need waving towels, dancing mascots, or blaring rock music.

Don’t we get plenty of the latter in our cars and houses?

If I want crass advertising, I’ll go to a NASCAR event.

Not only would I ban advertising on player uniforms, I would ban advertising on the field itself.

Advertising sends a destructive message to the baseball players, the owners, and to ourselves.

It tells us that all that counts is a buck.

Life must be more than that.

Young children must learn that honor comes before wealth.

I find it difficult to state that truth in another way that would be more meaningful.

We used to name our stadiums after veterans or people who did honorable things. Now we name them after soft drinks and cell phone companies.

I’m waiting for Oreo Cookie Yards.

What will happen if Rob Manfred prevails?

He will get a bump in the viewership, for sure.

ESPN media toadies will proclaim Manfred a genius.

After a short spate the hip crowd that is there for the glitz and the glamour will become bored and begin to move away.

Manfred will panic and institute new stunts to keep the Kardashian crowd from leaving.

Perhaps there will me a home run derby In the middle of 7th inning?

Baseball’s hard-core base will gradually drift away.

In time Manfred or his successor will run out of tricks. The Kardashian crowd will move onto the next vapid and fatuous stunt that tickles their fancy.

By that time the hard-core base will have left completely.

When that day comes baseball will die.

This future is certain if Rob Manfred is permitted to rule baseball.

It can be no other way.

This is what Harvard University has done to the world. This is why Harvard University must be shut down.

It is a university devoid of and antithetical to Christianity.

It focuses itself only on pagan wealth and power.

That is all it and its graduates care about.

It is a cult of money, power and almighty market share.

Sadly, this vision will fail, and baseball will fail with it.

What must be done?

Baseball must stick to its roots. Rather than move forward, it must move backward.

Remove the designated hitter.

Ban interleague play.

Strengthen division rivalries by increasing the number of intra-divisional games.

Ban all appeals. If the umpire says that the player is out, the player is out. What the umpire says goes. The umpire may not resort to electronic replay.

If the replay shows that the umpire is wrong, the umpire is right and the video is wrong. In this manner imperfection and humanity can be reinstituted into the game.

No rules must be passed to speed up the game. No measures must be instituted to appease the impetuous. If the crowd grows weary, they don’t belong there in the first place.

Fewer, not more, teams must be permitted to pass to the playoffs. The regular season must mean something. What’s the point of playing the seasonal games if everyone makes the playoffs? If you don’t win your division, you don’t make the playoffs.

Currently there are 30 teams in Major League Baseball allocated amongst 6 divisions.

Return to two divisions in each of the two leagues.

The top team in each division will play for the league championship. The league champions will play for the World Series championship.

Decrease the size of the stadium and its capacity to accommodate the shrinking fan base. Give more seat room and leg room to the fans, and bring them closer to the game. Improve the amenities. Get rid of the upper decks. Create more standing-sitting areas with big screen televisions.

Improve the television experience by allowing viewers to select which view they want to watch the game with. Currently fans are given the same old tiresome view from centerfield. Why not watch the game from the third base side or the first base side, or any other type of view?

Reduce the ticket prices to levels manageable to the working class. Pay the players what is affordable. Create a tighter three-tiered system of pay based upon value added to the team with uniform league-wide min and max limits imposed upon each level.

The goal is to prevent city hopping and excessive player reimbursement. High salaries with extended contracts decrease player incentive and therefore performance.

Fan loyalty and attendance will be higher if better players are retained.

That’s how you make baseball relevant again.

Naturally, Rob Manfred will do the opposite.

Sincerely,

Archer Crosley

How to Deal with Putin

I’ll tell you how to deal with Vladimir Putin. You treat him with respect which is what our leaders manifestly refused to do.

Obama called his country a JV nation. All of our presidents refused to include him when he asked to be included. Instead they expanded NATO into Russia’s sphere of influence when they promised they wouldn’t.

So once again, our leaders in the United States, Ivy League frauds for the most part, staring at their reflection in the mirror, created in the Ukraine another mess in which many people will die unnecessarily.

How do we get out of this mess?

Certainly not by sending more arms and pouring kerosene onto the fire.

Naturally, of course, our incompetent leaders desire this because they make money off war.

No, the solution is to encourage the Ukrainians to surrender in order to end the bloodshed.

They can’t win this fight, and they won’t win this fight. If the United States persists in arming Ukraine in order to prolong the war, Putin and the Russians will come down even harder on the Ukrainians and annihilate them.

This is an existential war for the Russians. If they are backed into a corner, they most certainly will use nuclear weapons. They unequivocally will not permit themselves to be enslaved to NATO and the west. That’s reality.

Our leaders live in a fantasy world. Vladimir Putin does not live in a fantasy world. He is not isolated. He is not syphilitic. He is an intelligent individual who is well read. He can speak multiple languages whereas our leaders can barely babble one. He was the judo champion of Leningrad. He plays sports. He actually reads books. Have you ever seen him handle a press conference? He can do it all by himself without a Teleprompter. He understands history.

He is not a gambler. He is not a person who makes rash decisions on his own. He has advisers that he consults. His advisers are not yes men; he welcomes opposing opinions.

The decision to enter Ukraine was not taken on a lark. Putin has the voluntary support of Russia’s elder statesmen. They play chess, and they play the game well.

Incidentally, how are the weapons going to get to the Ukrainians when the Russian style of fighting is to form a cauldron around each city?

The Russians have already disrupted the rail lines. This means that the principal way of getting arms in is by air.

If we attempt to airlift weapons in and it seems to be working, the Russians will put an end to that. They will have to create a no-fly zone that will increase the chance of a US plane being shot down.

This is probably what our leaders want as it will only escalate the crisis. This is not what we want. War does not benefit the people of the United States. War impoverishes the people of the United States.

The best way to help the people of Ukraine is to get them to surrender. The sooner the better.

We don’t want Vladimir Putin as our enemy. We want him as our friend.

That’s a sensible approach that a normal person would take.

Unfortunately our leaders are stone cold losers.

Sincerely,

Archer Crosley

Max Boot: Chicken Hawk

I can’t resist in criticizing Ivy League frauds.

There is something about the pretentiousness of such a degree that activates me.

It’s part of my disturbed upbringing I suppose.

Enter Max Boot.

Max Boot is another Ivy League jackass who puts on a good act.

He’s an apologist for our modern day Caesars, and not surprisingly he has written for the empire’s top rags.

He’s another one of these guys who knows how to dress right, speak right and fold his hands in a controlled manner when he appears on television.

He speaks in measured tones.

It’s not surprising that people fawn all over him.

He used to have hair but now has none thus proving that hair, or the lack of, has no relation to intelligence, because he’s just as stupid now in supporting Ukraine as he was in supporting the invasion of Iraq.

We can’t blame him for his position on Iraq though because the vast majority of us supported the invasion of Iraq.

We were all caught up in the euphoria of 911.

We all believed the lies.

But times change.

The physicists have spoken. It’s quite obvious that jets could not have taken down the World Trade Center.

It was taken down by the cocksuckers in Corporate America who stood to make a fortune off never-ending war in the Middle East. They needed their Pearl Harbor.

Honest people see this.

Corporate cocksuckers like Max Boot refuse to see it.

He is not only intellectually dumb, he is morally dumb.

Now Max Boot sports a hat thus proving that hats do not confer intelligence.

Nor does a Yale degree.

Nor does being a member of the Council on Foreign Relations – a gang of thugs who agree to praise each other.

Max Boot clearly doesn’t get it.

The purpose of an education is to learn, to think, to learn how to think.

You are supposed to use that education to make for a better world.

The purpose of an education is not to secure a magic talisman that you put around your neck so as to fool people that you know what you’re talking about.

Max Boot is a warmonger. He believes that we should support the people of Ukraine.

Well, let me correct that. He believes that you should support the people of Ukraine by sending your children over there to fight a war that will be lost.

Hey, he’s not that old. Maybe he can’t shoot a gun, but there’s no reason why he can’t pitch in and carry the ammo from one room to the next for the shooters.

Older people certainly are essential in fighting a war. They can do a lot of things.

They can prepare the food for the soldiers.

They can help bury the dead.

They can function as an effective civilian resistance.

I think he should go for it.

Go Max go!

Go Max go!

Go Max go!

I absolutely unequivocally insist that federal marshals pick him up today and escort him to the nearest Ukrainian war theater.

Maybe the reality of war will shake some common sense into his useless mind.

Bullets zinging by your head gives a whole new meaning to war. It’s not an arm chair exercise anymore.

That’s precisely the experience that Max Boot needs to understand. When he enters the Ukrainian battlefields he will come to understand reality.

Rapidly.

Here is reality.

Russia will win this war. Ukraine will lose this war.

Lies don’t win wars.

We live in a moral universe.

America was wrong. NATO was wrong.

Russia is right.

America is not always the good guy.

You have to know when to hold ‘em and know when to fold ‘em..

When playing chess, you need to resign when it is clear that you are beaten.

You have to live to fight another day.

Bye bye, Max.

Go get a real education.

You’re beaten.

Resign.

Sincerely,

Archer Crosley

Our Current Brand of Globalism

What’s wrong with our modern economics?

What’s wrong is that the vision of globalism that is commonly prosecuted by our elites is wrong.

The current brand is inefficient.

It’s a thinly disguised justification for sweatshop imperialism.

It doesn’t benefit anyone except the super rich.

Why barge materials and goods from continent to continent when each continent within reason has the materials necessary to manufacture its own goods?

Why does India need anyone? They have no shortage of fisheries, farmland, and mountains to extract ores.

Why does South America need anyone? They have no shortage of fisheries, farmland, and mountains to extract ores.

The same can be said for any other continent or subcontinent.

So where is the beef?

There isn’t any continent that doesn’t have oil, or farmland, or fisheries.

Given this reality, why are we barging materials all over the world?

We are doing so because the super rich want to exploit the Third World for cheap labor.

This is the only way that they can build and maintain their mansions around the globe.

In the United States today we currently have shortages of goods on the shelves.

We are told that finished goods are piling up on the docks of California.

Why should that be?

Why should we be importing these goods to begin with.

We have plenty of resources in the United States.

We have no shortage of lumber, oil or raw materials.

Nor do we have a shortage of manpower.

If we can’t make it on one continent, then we don’t deserve to make it at all.

The same can be said for the peoples on other continents.

Our current brand of globalism is flawed.

It’s inefficient.

And what is this nonsense about needing foreign investment in order to build up the economy?

Foreign investment is another tool of imperialism.

It’s just another landlord who charges high rent.

Often what Third World countries need is expertise and education.

A better option than paying rent is for the Third World country to charge rent.

The people of Jamaica will now charge you rent for mining bauxite.

The people in the Caribbean will now charge you rent for growing and refining sugar cane.

The people in Vietnam will now charge you rent for making textiles.

You will now pay rent for using our land.

You will now pay us dearly in rent for using our labor.

You will not own anything.

You will pay a licensing agreement for the harbors, the infrastructure, the works.

You will not own one building in our country.

You will not own one piece of land.

You will not own a tractor, a ship, or a truck.

You will not own so much as a pencil.

There will be no loans from you to us.

You will possess no equity in our country.

Bye bye.

Don’t let the door hit your ass on the way out.

The Catholic Church in Central America

Read this link at your pleasure.

The workers in Latin America only want to have a stake in the game. They only want to improve their lot in life.

This is something that United States corporations have manifestly refused to provide for over 100 years now.

US corporations such as Chiquita and Dole have worked together with wealthy landowners in Central America to ensure that the workers wages remain low.

They kill labor organizers as easily as banana pickers cut down bunches of bananas.

The workers turned toward Marxist ideas in order to improve their lot in life. You can hardly blame them.

In response, the CIA, which works for corporate interests, not us, infiltrated the Catholic Church in order to help take down those priests who were helping the poor.

Thus fascist death squads.

The response will ultimately be an even greater embedding of Marxist ideas within Central America.

US corporations are thus creating their own enemies, which they seem content with as US corporations stand to make even more money by fighting the specter of communism.

Cold Wars make far more money than hot wars.

This is not a good thing for us or the people of Central America.

While we are wasting our money fighting a cold war, we have engendered massive waves of immigration that are striking our southern border because conditions are so uninhabitable in Central America.

The attendant costs of fighting immigration and the crime wave that accompanies it are enormous.

The point I’m trying to make is that we’re not defeating anyone or any concept by supporting the fascists who have taken over the United States of America.

We were sold a lie by Ronald Reagan and the right.

These people on the right are not regular people; they are brutal fascists who are interested primarily in corporate profits. They are little better than the communists they are claiming to wage war against.

Their goal is money accumulation, and they have no desire to improve the lot of life for anyone either in Central America or the United States.

Financial health has steadily worsened for the average American since the end of World War II.

The Third Reich never died; it was merely transported over to the United States of America.

Not only did we import many of Nazi Germany’s scientists, we also gave a free ride to Reinhard Gehlen who helped us set up a spy network so as to monitor Soviet activity.

Our elitist leaders who were enamored with Nazi Germany prior to World War II continued their support of Nazi Germany after the war by adopting nearly every one of their policies.

But to what end?

The Cold War only permitted Corporate America to rape average Americans through massive investment in military spending.

The Catholic Church became a willing accomplice in that fascist empire.

The result is the world we see before us.

We are now living in the New World Order which is a horrible world to live in.

Was Jesus an enemy of the poor?

Did Jesus implore his followers to venture out into the world to kick ass in order to replenish the emperor’s treasure box?

I think not.

I Am Surely Surprised

And another one, Brian Benjamin, a member of the best and brightest, bites the dust.

Benjamin received his degrees from Brown and Harvard where high ethics are surely taught.

Oh, you say, don’t be ridiculous; this could happen to anyone at any school.

Perhaps.

But it might also be the case that elite schools instill a sense of entitlement and invulnerability that leads them to a lifetime of corruption.

That’s what I think.

Republic and Empire

Listen, we can either have America the Empire or America the Republic, but we can’t have both.

We can’t have our cake and eat it too.

If we have America the Empire without America the Republic, then what’s the point?

America the Empire is a bully that brutalizes other nations into slavery.

America the Empire has killed millions in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

America the Empire is as ruthless and stupid as the British and Roman empires.

Both empires were very short-lived.

America the Republic however can live for thousands of years if we are smart enough to choose it.

The vision of the New World order is false.

The vision of the New World order envisions America as an empire in a unipolar world where America calls the shots.

It will cause destitution to the peoples of the world and to Americans at home.

Empire benefits no one except the super rich.

We owe it to ourselves to be smarter than the British, to be smarter than the Romans.

Reject this idiotic vision that’s foisted upon us by Harvard and the Ivy League.

The people who attend these schools are pre-cooked eggs, tasteless, toxic, not ripe enough for consumption.

Reject the Harvard manifesto.

Reject the best and the brightest, if that’s what you consider them.

They aren’t the best and brightest by a long shot. They are legends in their own minds, fake masters of the universe, running about fucking up the world en extremis.

Of course they do it for money.

They couldn’t care less about the lives they destroy.

Ukraine is a perfect example.

Our knuckleheaded masters of the universe broke their agreement with the Russians, provoked the Russians to invade Ukraine in order to defend their hegemony and stability, then have the gall to call the Russians invaders.

The destruction of Ukraine is heartbreaking and extraordinary.

But that’s okay with the empire builders because they will supply the arms to the Ukrainians in their futile fight against the Russians; and then they will supply the building materials to rebuild the cities they helped to destroy.

The American people will foot the bill.

The empire builders will grow wealthier, and the American people will grow poorer.

Reject empire.

Reject Harvard.

There is a better way.

We can adopt a vision which sees America as an enabler and a partner with other nations. We can see America as one nation amongst many making friends not slaves.

And if America is not necessarily the wealthiest nation, so be it.

It’s far better for America to be a leader and an influencer rather than the richest guy on the block.

Money is useless if it serves no moral purpose.

Empires as we know them are immoral.

Republics as our Founding fathers envisioned them is the legacy we wish to propagate.

Sincerely,

Archer Crosley

Joseph McCarthy and Perspective

Let’s put Joseph McCarthy in perspective.

Did Joe McCarthy burn down cities?

Did Joe McCarthy import drugs into the United States of America?

Did Joe McCarthy fight useless wars abroad that killed thousands of Americans and millions of Third World inhabitants.

Did Joe McCarthy outsource jobs?

Did Joe McCarthy tear down statues of Ulysses Grant and Abraham Lincoln?

No, Joe McCarthy didn’t do any of these things.

But, my friends, the CIA, the thug agency of the wealthy elite, did help accomplish these things.

So who is worse? Joe McCarthy or the CIA?

It’s important to put Joseph McCarthy in perspective.

All Joseph McCarthy did was reveal names that were compiled by other congressional committees as to who might be undermining the United States of America.

As it turns out, he was largely right.

So let’s keep that in mind as we evaluate Joseph McCarthy.

It has become all too convenient in America to decry McCarthyism, to condemn Joseph McCarthy.

It’s almost become a habit.

It’s time to stop that bad habit.

Joe McCarthy was not a bad guy.

Joseph McCarthy was a regular guy just like us who was looking after the best interest of the nation.

There were elitists in our nation who were undermining and betraying the United States of America.

In Joseph McCarthy‘s day we called those people communists.

Today we call these people globalists.

Personally, I call them corporate fascists. Calling them communists might give them the veneer that they care about people.

Joseph McCarthy was pulling back the curtain on the corporate fascists of the day.

That’s why our elites punished him.

Joseph McCarthy was revealing who they were and what they were.

It was Joseph McCarthy who revealed what was going on at Fort Monmouth, a military installation in New Jersey.

He wasn’t the first one to notice that Fort Monmouth was a beehive of espionage, but he was the first who had the guts to bring this harmful activity into public consciousness.

He probably thought Dwight Eisenhower might be interested in knowing that his beloved Army was being used in this manner.

Not only was Dwight Eisenhower not interested, Dwight Eisenhower tried to shut the whole thing down by shutting down Joseph McCarthy.

That should tell you much about Dwight Eisenhower.

Dwight Eisenhower was not our friend.

Dwight Eisenhower was an American Quisling. Dwight Eisenhower, with the CIA, helped conduct all sorts of naughtiness against the nations of the world.

Many of the problems that we face today are a result of Dwight Eisenhower’s actions.

Dwight Eisenhower was a criminal.

Dwight Eisenhower’s collaboration with the CIA set the table for the Vietnam war.

Dwight Eisenhower trashed the Geneva Accords which called for an election and reunification of South and North Vietnam in 1956.

Ike created SEATO, established a country that didn’t exist, supported a thug named Diem, labeled a national hero, Ho Chi Minh, a communist (he was a nationalist), and backed it up with a silly, unproven pseudo-theory called “The Domino Theory.”

Eisenhower did all this at the behest of the greedy businessmen who were after the enormous resources in the region.

And there were many of those: oil, gas, palm oil, rubber, latex, gold, copper.

Hah, the media hardly discusses that at all.

Instead our nation’s press, the agent of the empire, gather together to demonize Joe McCarthy.

Of course they do. They have to promote a whipping post to take your mind off the real criminals in our country.

If they do criticize Dwight Eisenhower, they refer to him as an aloof out of touch golfer.

He was nothing of the sort. Dwight Eisenhower was actively involved with the shenanigans of the CIA.

He approved every mission, and there were plenty of them.

To give him credit for exposing the potential harms of the military industrial complex when he was on his way out of office is a joke.

Here is a ticket on the clue train: Dwight Eisenhower was the military industrial complex.

He was just another puppet of the wealthy elite.

If he was so aghast at the increasing power of the military industrial complex, why didn’t he resign?

He didn’t resign because he wanted the glory, the power, and the money that goes with being President.

Ergo, he sold his soul for thirty pieces of silver.

Everything that you have heard about him from the main stream media is propaganda.

Oh, I hear you say, but Dwight Eisenhower was the commander of the armies in World War II.

Yes, he was, and that was a war that never should have existed.

To give the people who caused the war credit for winning the war is outrageous and unwarranted.

Moral leaders, which we have never had, would have prevented that war.

Moral leaders would never have crafted a Treaty of Versailles which ultimately led to the rise of fascism.

Moral leaders on Wall Street would never have financed Adolf Hitler which they did do.

Moral leaders would never have outsourced jobs to Southeast Asia and China.

Moral leaders would not have fought imperialist wars in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

Joe McCarthy did none of these things.

On the other hand, American Quislings like Dwight Eisenhower did.

So let’s put Joe McCarthy in perspective.

Joe McCarthy was pulling back the curtain on the corporate fascists in our country.

What Joe McCarthy didn’t understand was how pervasive their globalist agenda was.

What Joe McCarthy didn’t understand was how these globalists had invaded and infected our elected representatives.

What Joe McCarthy didn’t know was that these communist regimes and movements were being occultly bankrolled and sustained by the American corporations who he was defending.

Today, we have what Jim McCarthy didn’t have: 60 years of experience after his time in Washington.

You see, he lived in an era in which it was inconceivable to an American that its government would be hijacked by corporate fascists whose goal was to create a nation of compliant serfs.

But that is exactly what happened.

Joe McCarthy was the first victim of political correctness.

He defied the orthodoxy.

And that is why he was demonized then and today.

It’s time for that to stop.

Sincerely,

Archer Crosley

Conspiracies

The important thing that you should know is that conspiracies do exist.

We are all here because of a conspiracy.

Your mother and father got together in secret and fucked. You are the result of that event.

In addition your United States Justice Department believes in conspiracies, and they have believed in conspiracies for the past 250 years.

For 250 years your United States Justice Department has filed charges of conspiracy against individual Americans.

These charges would include charges such as conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to commit fraud.

Do you remember the Bernie Madoff affair?

There was a conspiracy laid bare.

Conspiracy detractors will also make light of organizations such as the Bilderbergers and the Trilateral Commission.

Well, these organizations exist.

They have memberships, secretaries, and official headquarters.

They are not figments of the imagination.

Generally these organizations are populated by wealthy, so-called important people who get together to discuss the world and where it should go.

After they get out of these meetings, these whales use their influence, which is vast, to influence the world.

It’s not an illusion. It’s not something that crazy people made up.

These organizations exist.

Here are two links: Bilderberg Group. Trilateral Commission.

Now, whether they do any good or not is another matter.

Whether they ultimately make any difference in the world is another issue.

But to deny that they try to influence the world is flat out wrong.

They do.

I have more of a problem with the people who deny that these people exist than I do with the people who are trying to change the world.

These whales do exist.

Conspiracies do exist.

Finally let’s not forget about the Army Rangers, Green Beret, CIA, Navy Seals, Delta Force, militaries, and national intelligence agencies of every country on the planet.

They all believe in secret missions which are, hello, conspiracies.

Whoops! I forgot about the 147,945 conspiracies successfully pulled off every day of the week in perpetuity.

If everybody over the age of five has a birthday party on their birthday, on any particular day of the week there will be 16,438,356 birthday parties. If 1% of those birthdays are surprise birthday parties and 90% of those surprise birthday parties are pulled off successfully, that will amount to 147,945.2 successful conspiracies pulled off every single day of the week into eternity.

Now, someone needs to tell the main stream media that conspiracies are possible.

Rough Formula: (6 billion/365) * 0.01 * 0.9

Checkmate, puppets.
