Bye Bye Miss American Pie

Our beautiful federal government has offered a sweet deal for rural hospitals.

Are you ready for this?

Shut down your inpatient services and we will give you a pile of cash.

Patients living in the rural area who need inpatient services will be ferried, I presume by helicopter, to larger cities.

The federal government’s rationale is that costly inpatient services are draining the amount of money that could be spent on outpatient services.

What do you think of that?

Rural hospitals are somewhat nervous about accepting this deal.

They should be.

It’s a thinly veiled attempt at establishing and furthering a national health service.

It’s also a euthanasia service in disguise.

Rural hospitals are worried that larger hospitals in the city will be unwilling to accept their patients.

They fear that the larger hospitals will become packed to the gills during various pandemics.

They are right.

Not only that, our federal government, true to its nature, will put in all sorts of regulations and requirements that will delay or deny such transfers.

As I say, it’s a disguised euthanasia service.

Thousands upon thousands of elderly people will die through neglect, but not before the crony capitalist pigs who control the corporations have siphoned every last dollar out of them.

After all, these rural elderly aren’t human beings to them. Instead, they are product – raw material whose value must be maximized. Does this sound remotely like Robert McNamara and his approach to the Vietnam war – a war that was never meant to end, a war that existed to make money? It should, because many of the people who run our country today are disciples of Robert McNamara. They love the guy.

And they were trained at the same fascist business schools.

Eventually, the elderly and other rural patients will be transported, but of course, in a more weakened state. This will, of course, allow the hospitals to put them in the intensive care unit for a greater number of days so as to maximize profits.

Naturally, of course they will die in greater numbers.

Now, a normal person and a normal doctor would say: an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. They would recommend treating the patient as expeditiously as possible in the rural area. They would also recommend breaking up the large corporations that are profiteering off healthcare, those being in the hospital and pharmaceutical industry, so as to create more competition and bring costs down. This would allow rural hospitals to survive and thrive as they did for many, many decades before the “smart guys” in the Harvard Cabal put their death grip upon America.

A normal person and a normal doctor would see this as a better solution. They would think this because their goal is to enrich and prolong human life.

But of course, this will not happen, and so many many people will die.

In the future, politicians will wail: Nobody knew.

Well, I’m telling you now.

The Third Reich never died. It was merely transported over to the United States of America.

What you have in charge of this country is a corrupt and elitist Harvard Cabal, greedy fascists to the core, who think of themselves as the smartest guys in the room.

They and their Ministry of Health and Central Planning will now make decisions for you.

Part of their plan is to cull the human population of less productive people.

That means the elderly. They are a drain, don’t you know.

Our leaders in the Harvard Cabal are a little bit more sophisticated than Adolf Hitler though.

They’re not going to send them to the gas chambers.

No, they’re going to invent viruses and pandemics that will wipe them out.

And, they will come up with crazy ideas like having rural hospitals shut down their inpatient services.

That’s what central planners do.

It’s done in the name of profits.

And, of course, the public good.

Sure.

Sincerely,

Antimicrobial Resistance

What causes antimicrobial resistance?

Resistance is related to total antibiotic pressure upon available bacteria.

What contributes to total antibiotic pressure?

1.  Antibiotics used in farming and agriculture.

2.  Waste antibiotics released into rivers by Big Pharma.

3.  Total antibiotics being prescribed by healthcare providers.

4.  Antibiotics that are being sold legally or illegally on the open market without prescription.

In summary, the greater the antibiotic pressure, the greater chance of resistance.

How do resistant bacteria form and propagate?

They mutate.

Once they mutate they can either reproduce or spread the mutated genetic material through plasmid exchange.

A plasmid is a small DNA molecule within a cell that is separated from chromosomal DNA and can replicate independently.

The bacteria come together and form a joining point like a handshake. Then the genetic information is exchanged.

How important is sanitation to Antibiotic Resistance?

There is a doctor from Australia named Peter Calignon, Ph. D. from the Australian National University Medical School.

He and his colleagues feel that contagion is an important factor in spreading antimicrobial resistance.

I agree.

He feels that poor sanitation and overcrowding plays a real and vital role in the spread of resistance.

If we examine where much of the antimicrobial resistance comes from – India, China and others – we can see that he may have a point.

These countries do not have the best sanitation services available for all their people.

It makes sense that if you have more available bacteria for antibiotics to be exposed to, you should get more resistance, especially if the bacteria are more prone to come from infected people.

Of course there are people who do not agree with him.  They feel that overuse of antibiotics is the main cause of resistance.

I am not so sure of that, and I will explain why.

WHERE DOES ANTIMICROBIAL RESISTANCE COME FROM?

Most of the deaths that arise from antimicrobial resistance come from Asia and Africa.

Is this because healthcare is sub-standard there?

Or is it because there are more resistant bacteria being generated there?

There are maps available.

I can go all day with these maps, but you can play with them yourselves by searching the web for CDDEP Resistance Map.

You will see that MOST of resistance is coming from India, China, Russia, Mexico, Argentina and Venezuela.

Most of the resistance is NOT coming from the United States.

Assuming that antimicrobial resistance is coming primarily from these parts of the world, why would that be?

Here are some potential reasons.

1.  Poor oversight of Big Pharma allowing corporations to dump effluent into the rivers.

2.  Poor sanitation and overcrowding.

3.  Open pharmacy whereby antibiotics can be obtained without a prescription.

WHERE DOES ANTIMICROBIAL RESISTANCE NOT COME FROM?

Let’s turn the question upside down.

Why do we see less resistance coming from the more developed countries?

The United States and the West.

Here are some potential factors.

1.  Better oversight of Big Pharma.

2.  Better sanitation.

3.  Closed pharmacy.  You can not buy antibiotics at the supermarket.

WHAT’S MY POINT?

This is my opinion.

Maybe we are being too hard on ourselves in thinking that over-prescription of antibiotics is a major cause of antimicrobial resistance.

Maybe we are doing more harm by overly cutting back on our prescription of antibiotics.

If we can nip an infection in the bud, we can prevent much morbidity.  Morbidity is like a forest fire – catch it early and you can prevent a massive conflagration.

A massive conflagration of bacterial infection can paradoxically cause more antibiotic use.

Maybe what we should be more aggressive with antibiotics.

Some people argue that doctors prescribe too many antibiotics.

But it isn’t as if doctors are handing out antibiotics on the street corner.

We have a controlled process in the United States.

We have a closed pharmacy.

We are already doing enough to control resistance.

But by cutting back on antibiotic use for people WHO ARE SICK, we are effectively increasing contagion by allowing more people to get sick.

Let us define contagion in the following way:

Contagion = Number of Sick People x Overcrowding x Poor Sanitation.

WARNING!

By badgering doctors to stop prescribing antibiotics we will increase the number of sick people and cause more antimicrobial resistance.

Thus we will validate the contagion theory that this doctor from Australia, Peter Colignon, was talking about.

SO WHAT’S THE SOLUTION?

The solution is to develop new classes of antibiotics.

There are many areas worth investigating.

If we think we have developed all the ways to kill a bacteria, that is surely a testament to our arrogance.

Indeed, there are many exciting areas to explore.

Why, just the other day, I was cuddling up next to the fireplace with the latest issue of Molecular Cell, a lively, witty magazine.

I was looking at this article: Inhibiting the Evolution of Antibiotic Resistance. Molecular Cell. Volume 73.  Issue 1.

Surely this made the NY Times bestseller list.

In this particular article the authors, Ragheb, et. al, discuss a mutagenesis factor in the bacteria which if shut down could inhibit bacteria from mutating.

Now, this is an avenue, among many, that should be explored.

Yes, it may be a blind alley. Or, it may not even be advisable to shut down the mutability of bacteria.

That’s not the point.

The point is that Big Pharma should be aggressively investigating these avenues.

Are they?

Many say they are not.

Why not?

WHY DOESN’T BIG PHARMA CARE?

They don’t have to care anymore.

They’re too big to care.

There has simply been too much consolidation within the healthcare industry.

Big Pharma is too big.

Their only concern now is profits.

The leaders of their firms are financial guys, not pharmaceutical guys.

One of their false gods is precise cost accounting.

They believe that every single drug must be justified on its own merits.

If they can’t see the profits in it, they don’t go down that road.

This isn’t like the old days where the leader of the firm would take a chance on an idea.

Furthermore, the antibiotics that they have currently are already making them enough money.

They are not thinking ahead to the day when the new antibiotics might be necessary.

There are no profits in that.

They are not statesman; they are profiteers.

But that is not the only reason why they do not innovate.

There is an even darker reason.

THE NEW WORLD ORDER

Do you believe in the New World Order?

You better.

Although Big Pharma loves nothing more than profits, sometimes their profits have to take a back seat to a larger concern.

Control.

Big Pharma is now controlled fully by the elites.

The elites look at medicines as a weapon they can you use to control you.

Antibiotics are a major part of that arsenal.

By depriving you of antibiotics, the elites can keep you a little more sick and dependent upon them.

You see, the elites view antibiotics as medicines for them, not you.

Why, what would happen if the commoners kept using antibiotics, they ask themselves.

Pretty soon, they answer, we won’t have useful antibiotics for ourselves.

That just won’t do, they conclude.

So rather than spend money that can be better used for their new yacht, they convince you that antibiotics don’t work.

They enlist their academics to convince you.

But you know better.

You know that antibiotics work.

Antibiotics put out fires and keep you out of the hospital.

That is precisely the point.

If you get sick as an outpatient and can’t get timely medicines, you are more likely to enter the hospital.

This is a bad thing for you.

But it is a good thing for Corporate America.

They make more money this way.

That improves their bottom line.

Is this too dark for you?

Think again, Pollyanna.

In Pennsylvania not too long ago, a judge was sent to prison because he was sending children to juvenile detention in exchange for kickbacks.

Men are evil and will game the system any way they can.

The days are gone when Big Pharma engages in innovation unless there is an extreme profit motive.  They don’t have to care.

Big Pharma is a quasi governmental entity], entrenched with elites.  They are ossified.

We won’t see innovation like we used to.

Their CEOs aren’t emotionally invested in their company.

This is a bd thing because we need new antibiotics.

Antibiotics work.

I know it with my patients and with me.

Patients have figured it out also.

That’s why bodegas sell antibiotics over the counter.

People in the 3rd World have figured it out.

And we need antibiotics even though the academics say we have don’t.

Academics don’t understand how infections begin.

How do infections begin?

Most respiratory infections begin as viral infections.

After a few days, the bacteria set in and what you get as a mixed infection.

By the time you visit your doctor, you probably have a mixed infection. There are probably bacteria in there.

This is why antibiotics work. The antibiotics work against the bacteria that are in the mixed infection., Now, your academic will tell you that your infection is either pure viral or pure bacterial. This is not true.

The majority of infections are mixed.

By aggressively treating with antibiotics we can get people better faster.

Not only will we be decreasing morbidity and mortality, we will also be decreasing contagiousness.

Not prescribing antibiotics aggressively will cause increased contagiousness which in turn will cause more infections which will paradoxically cause more antibiotics to be prescribed.

The road to hell will be paved with good intentions.

Sincerely,

Archer Crosley

How to Prevent Infections

How do you prevent infections? Wash your hands. Wash your hands. Wash your hands.

If you are working with people, and your hands are not red and raw by the end of the day, you probably aren’t washing your hands enough.

“Oh,” but you may exclaim. “How do you know, motherfucker?”

How do I know? Because I do.

Supermarket Doctors

Why are supermarkets giving vaccines?

Well of course these aren’t just any old supermarket; these are supermarkets with pharmacies.

Oh, I see. It all makes sense now. Nothing to see here, keep moving. It’s all legit.

Hey honey, can you pick me up some COVID-19 vaccine on your way home? I also need some broccoli.

The last time I checked, a vaccine was a foreign substance injected into the human body.

Shouldn’t the administration of that vaccine require a physician’s judgment, especially if it’s a substance that has not been subjected to rigorous scrutiny?

It makes sense to me.

Of course, pharmacies have been giving vaccines for years.

But should they?

In the long run, it probably doesn’t matter because most physicians are on board the government’s program when it comes to vaccine administration.

But what if they weren’t?

What if many doctors gave a particular vaccine because they were obligated to do so, but when asked by their patients whether they should take the vaccine they expressed reservations?

Is that something that would be helpful to their patient’s health?

It might be.

Would we be likely to have those reservations expressed at a supermarket pharmacy?

Generally, the pharmacist at these supermarket pharmacies is an employee of a corporation. Consequently I would expect the pharmacist to reflect the opinion of the corporation.

Is that what we want?

There was a time in the state of Texas when the corporate practice of medicine was banned.

It was banned because our wise antecedents desired doctors and other healthcare providers to offer impartial, independent device.

Wise leaders of old didn’t want giant corporations telling healthcare providers how to practice medicine.

This was done in order to put the patient’s interest first, not the corporation’s bottom line.

The problem we have in our society today is that our pharmacies are largely controlled by giant corporations.

The same people who control the giant corporations also control the government.

For the most part they are college chums who frequently meet together in think tanks and corporate boardrooms in Washington, New York, Philadelphia and Boston.

So what we have in the United States is an oligarchy recommending a vaccine to be delivered via a compliant administrative machinery that is also controlled by that oligarchy.

In other words a few people are recommending and delivering a vaccine to you.

This same oligarchy also controls the media who will sell the benefits of the vaccine alongside the risks for not vaccinating.

Fear and hope are powerful motivators.

Used car salesman use this technique all the time. If you don’t buy by Friday, the price goes up.

We humans are the consummate suckers.

I wonder if dogs are this dumb.

A survey I conducted in my office tells me that almost 2/3 of the people will vaccinate with the as yet undelivered and not fully scrutinized COVID-19 vaccine.

Big surprise.

I suspect that the vast majority of these people will get their vaccines at an H-E-B pharmacy in the state of Texas.

My gut tells me that the government will bypass regular physicians – who may express reservations.

I suspect this because I have not been contacted with regard to issuing this new COVID-19 vaccine. I did sign up to deliver the vaccine, but no one has contacted me in a month.

My experience with the influenza vaccine tells me that large corporate pharmacies like Walgreens and H-E-B receive as many flu vaccines as their heart desires while private offices like mine get one chance prior to the flu season to order the vaccine.

What do I think of all this?

I think we are skating on thin ice.

I think that humanity is dumb. We can never seem to learn lessons permanently.

We forget lessons from the past.

Independent doctors serve as an important independent check on big government, big corporations, media hysteria and irrational exuberance.

We are going to learn that lesson the hard way.

Curing a Psychosis

How do you cure a psychosis? This is a relevant question in the age of COVID-19.

NYC just closed down its school system for children.

NYC did this in the face of hard data which demonstrates that children are amazingly impervious to the adverse effects of COVID-19.

In fact it is the children who, when allowed to commingle, will protect the elderly this year and next year.

What madness is this?

This madness is taking on a life of its own and has spread to the citizenry who have been scared and stampeded it into decisions that are hurting the country and its inhabitants.

The politicians lead the way.

But the politicians are not solely to blame. They reflect the will of the people.

The will of the people is created by the various media outlets in the Northeast.

New Yorkers are good people. It’s not their fault that they have been programmed.

Most people who grow up and live in the Northeastern Gulag are programmed. It is only those of us who have escaped the Gulag who have come to see that we were indoctrinated too.

There is a steady drumbeat of maternal totalitarian thinking that emanates from the principal newspapers in the Northeast. Those papers are the Washington Post, the Baltimore Sun, the Philadelphia Inquirer, the New York Times, the Boston Globe, the New Yorker magazine, the Village Voice to name a few.

As long as this drumbeat continues to dominate New Yorkers’ minds, lockdowns and face masks are inevitable.

There seems to be little point in reasoning with these afflicted people, for if we reason with afflicted people, then we are mad for trying to do so.

All of this brings us back to where we started from which is: How do we cure a psychosis?

There seems to be no end in sight.

Nevertheless, there is always hope. Things are never as good or as bad as they seem to be.

First, let us not panic and call New Yorkers delusional. Afflicted people don’t believe they are delusional, so calling them such won’t do any good. It might make matters worse.

Second, let’s understand that people who are psychotic have fixed, false beliefs.

We can debate these false beliefs ad infinitum, but that misses the point. The point is that these beliefs, whatever they are, are repeated in a loop until they are fixed. The beliefs are exclusionary of anything contrary to what they espouse.

In the case of COVID-19, these beliefs are established and promoted by a main stream media.

An orthodoxy exists.

As long as the citizens of New York are exposed to this programming, they will continue to support the kind of thinking that leads to a lockdown and a shutdown of the schools.

The thinking of the citizens of New York is not illogical, but totally logical.

If you repeatedly tell New Yorkers that face masks work, that lockdowns work, that social distancing will solve the problem, that vaccines are right around the corner, then New Yorkers going to support a shut down of the schools.

So then, is the solution to tell them the opposite?

That would seem to be the logical thing to do; however, that approach has not succeeded.

Why has that approach – let’s call it the truth – not worked?

Principally because the same people who are indoctrinating New Yorkers into a particular way of thought are also indoctrinating them into thinking that anyone who opposes them is a dangerous nut.

So when you tell New Yorkers that they are delusional, you are reinforcing the wisdom of the authorities who have programmed New Yorkers to act the way that they do.

A different approach is therefore in order.

By telling New Yorkers that they are crazy is not doing us or New Yorkers good but is instead making us feel good.

It’s time to do good.

A better approach would be to say nothing and to do nothing while removing the noxious programming.

If we can convince New Yorkers to stop listening to the news, stop watching mainstream media, stop reading the New York Times and other establishment newspapers, then we stand a chance.

This could be accomplished either through cessation of activity or replacement of the coronavirus issue with something more productive.

We don’t have to offer any contrary point of view. New Yorkers are smart enough to figure out the truth on their own.

Their own common sense and reasoning will come to dominate and replace their nonproductive thinking.

Archer Crosley

Questions for Settled Science

Have you heard that COVID-19 cases are increasing in the Midwest?

According to God:

“Everyone who knew anything about infectious disease and epidemiology predicted this six to eight months ago,” said Dr, Ezekiel Emanuel, vice-provost for global initiatives at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania.

It’s always good to get a quote from God.  Here is another.

“Yes, it will surge in the fall, and the reason it will surge is because we are moving indoors,” said Emanuel. “Our surge is much higher than the surges in general,” he said, because the US has started, “from a higher baseline”.

Let’s ask a few questions of God.

Why would cases surge because we are moving indoors? Are we moving indoors any more in early winter than we are in the summer? Do we sleep outdoors in the summer?  Do we not go to work indoors during the summer? Haven’t children been indoors doing remote learning for the past three months?  Haven’t people in the upper Midwest acclimated to the cold by now to the point where they don’t let the cold interfere with their outdoor activities?  Are there no outdoor sports in the upper Midwest? Are we inviting street people into our house just because it’s getting cold?

It seems very unlikely that moving indoors would have a significant impact on the incidence of coronavirus cases.

Have there been any major holidays within the past month where people would be getting together to spread the disease?

No.

Now, if you told me that the cause of the recent surge was depression of individual immunity because of the cold weather, I might be able to buy into an increased incidence of cases and deaths.

But why would this surge be occurring so rapidly?

What has changed in the upper Midwest to cause the disease to spike like this?  Shouldn’t the disease follow a logarithmic progression again? If you remember, back in March it took a while before the caseload and death count got to a high number.

Have there been any major holidays necessitating major get-togethers or super-spreader events?

No.

So what’s my point?

Just this.

Suppose that the virus has spread throughout the entire community of the upper Midwest, and everybody else in America, by now. Suppose the virus is now colonized in everybody’s respiratory epithelium.

Suppose the spread of the virus is no longer a factor in who gets the disease.

Suppose that the incidence of new disease and new deaths is now dependent upon either how cold the weather is, or how much sunlight people are receiving.

Does this sound crazy?

It didn’t sound crazy to Edgar Hope-Simpson of the UK who studied the influenza virus his entire life.

Hope-Simpson developed a different theory for influenza virus contagiousness.

He had the audacity to question settled science.

In a nutshell he proposed that the lower elevation of the sun in winter, and the decreased production of vitamin D, caused enough decreased immunity to enable the influenza virus to take hold in many people almost simultaneously.

Well, assuming his theory is correct so that I can move this discussion along, suppose the same thing is happening with COVID-19.

Is it possible that this virus has already spread to everyone in the United States by now?

Despite the lockdown, despite the social distancing, it seems very possible.

In fact, it would seem almost impossible that it had not spread to everyone by now.

Given the truth that the experts have told us, that people in the Midwest were irresponsible for not locking down, we should be able to reasonably calculate how many potential people could be infected.

If we assume that one person may infect 2 new people every 7 days, and that 210 days has passed since the virus hit our shores, we would arrive at a calculation of over one billion people.  That is 2 to the 30th power (30 incubation periods).  Of course, this calculation is not precise; it exists to support the possibility of the virus having spread widely by now.

If this is the case, then shouldn’t everyone be positive for antibodies?

Maybe not. Maybe the coronavirus rests within the surface of the respiratory epithelium in an unknown way and becomes dormant awaiting for a reawakening by the cool weather.

If the coronavirus is resting within the surface of the respiratory epithelium in a special, unknown sort of way, perhaps it would not produce antibodies that would be detectable.

If this were the case, then social distancing measures and the face mask would be unnecessary.

This theory would explain why we are currently having a surge, but it would not explain why we had a surge in many states in June.

Oh, well, here is where we must briefly delve into conspiracy theory, which wouldn’t be necessary if we had an honest government.

Alas, we do not, and so we must postulate that the surge was helped along and induced by the powers that be.

Perhaps the same immoral people that developed this bio-weapon are the same immoral people who helped the infection along for the purpose of fulfilling their own agenda.

Was the virus seeded by dark elements within our ruling class?  Certainly federal incentives helped the diagnosis of coronavirus. But was the virus seeded?

It’s important to ask this question because the spread of the disease seemingly makes no sense. Plus there is an inconsistency in the logic from the good professor at God’s university as well as Dr. Fauci and the rest of the usual suspects who undyingly support whatever the conventional wisdom may be.

Let’s ask this question: What causes a surge in this disease?  It’s the same question we asked three months ago, and six months ago, to no satisfaction.

Is the disease spread by people congregating together indoors? Or is it the cold weather?  Or both?

In the summer we have warm weather and people outdoors; In the winter we have cold weather and people indoors.

Now, we have already spoken about the potential fallacy of indoor habitation as a contributor to the coronavirus surge. If getting sick were solely a matter of being indoors, then why did we see a surge in the summer?  Weren’t people outdoors in the summer months?

Well, maybe people were indoors during the summer. Governor DeSantis in Florida told us that one of the causes of the summer surge was people going indoors to get out of the heat.  In other words it was the cold air conditioning that was causing the surge.

Prior studies of SARS in 2003 loan support to this claim.

If Governor DeSantis is correct, then people are indoors during the summer, and the argument of the good professor from the University of Pennsylvania tends to be right, yet possibly wrong.

Are you confused?

You needn’t be.

To resolve this, let’s talk about this particular conspiracy theory of the government, or ruling class, seeding the disease.

Oh, yes, we must.

If we postulate that the virus has spread to everybody by now, which there is no reason to believe that it couldn’t, then there would be no need for the government to seed the disease.

So let’s assume that the virus has spread to everyone by now if only for the sake of getting rid of the conspiracy theory.

People who wear suits and ties don’t like conspiracy theories anyway.  They only like conspiracies when people throw successful surprise birthday parties, have sex; or when Seal Team Six takes down bin Laden.

So let’s cut to the chase and clear up the confusion.

It seems logical that the summer surge occurred when people went indoors to get out of the hot heat and then subjected themselves to cold air conditioning (which produces a cold, dry environment).  We know that people are more susceptible in a colder, drier environment.  We know that the virus has greater survivability in a cooler, drier environment. It may also be possible that the virus is reactivated in a cooler, drier environment.

Heat protects. Humidity protects.

Perhaps the current winter surge is coming about because we have colder, drier weather in the Midwest.

Perhaps being indoors In itself does not contribute to the disease. Maybe close  contact with  other people is not causing the disease.  Maybe it is the coolness and dryness of the environment that is causing the surge.

Heat and humidity kill the virus. Cold-weather lowers immunity.

If we see a surge associated with bars and restaurants, it may be because those establishments are air-conditioned.

Does this theory sound tenable?

If it is, then the virus is already amongst us. We cannot spread it anymore than it has already spread.

The lockdown and face mask are then useless.

Our means of defense then is limited to turning off the air-conditioning in the summer while cranking up the heat in the winter.

It might also be worthwhile to move many of these vulnerable elderly down south for the next six months.

But wait a minute. Let’s not move so fast. What about New York City? Why have we seen no dramatic surge there?

Isn’t it getting colder there as well?

And if the virus has spread to everybody by now, irrespective of the lockdown and  the face mask, shouldn’t New Yorkers and New Englanders be ready to see a surge.

Well, it’s about to get cold.

If this theory is correct, they should.

If they do not, then we have to think of another theory.

We may have to retreat to conspiracy.

Conspiracy may be the truth.

Perhaps dark elements in the government are spreading this disease in order to keep the fear going so as to implement remote learning which will give them, ultimately, the indoctrination tools that they need to control the masses.  Personally, I think they’ve done a pretty good job already. Most people are pliable puppets only too willing to serve their master.

Perhaps by keeping the fear going the dark elements will be able to break the back of small business so as to increase the market share of their big corporations.

Perhaps by breaking  the back of small healthcare providers the dark elements get one step closer to implementing their crony-capitalist driven national health service.

Perhaps by implementing remote learning, the dark elements will be able to mass produce de-socialized automatons, who, lacking empathy, will become more effective killing machines in Corporate America’s never ending wars.

There are certainly a lot of incentives for the government and Corporate America to keep this disease going.

Maybe that’s why they instructed their celebrities to sell the disease back in March.  Maybe that’s why they had their celebrities screaming at us to stay at home. Maybe that’s why their celebrities had their talking points ready at the get-go:  Shelter in place, social distancing, flatten the curve.

Sing it with me.  Shelter in place, social distancing, flatten the curve.

This conspiracy sounds plausible especially when we note that Corporate America had its plastic shields up and ready to go at their retail outlet checkout counters within a week of the lockdown.

But is such a conspiracy the truth?

Many can not go there.  Many will not go there.

But we may have to go there if the logic from our authorities does not hold up.

Cops know, and doctors know, that when a story doesn’t add up something is amiss.

It’s totally rational for us to think about conspiracy when facts don’t add up.

It’s totally legitimate for us to question the authorities when the facts don’t add up.

So people are moving indoors and that is what is causing the surge, eh?  Well, are people in New York going to move indoors during the winter? If they do, and we don’t see a dramatic NYC surge, what does that then mean?

What will God from God’s university say?

Will he say that New Yorkers are not suffering because they were good children and locked down?

Is it possible that New Yorkers took the proper course of action.

Dr. Fauci thinks so.

But is it so?

It certainly is possible that if you lock everyone down in their house, and prevent anyone from coming into your city, that you can prevent a  surge.

But at what cost?

And will it solve the problem?

Will the coronavirus go away just because you wait in your house?

How long can you wait in your house?

These are important questions because our true leaders in Corporate America may be champing at the bit to institute another lockdown in the United States of America.

If the experience of the United Kingdom is a guide, that’s exactly what we are in store for.

Sincerely,

Archer Crosley, MD

American Communism

Here’s today’s big surprise: our leaders are communists.

In fact, our leaders have been communists for a long, long time.

When Trump says that socialism will never come to United States, that’s a joke.

We’ve had socialism in the United States since 1932.

Where has Trump been living? He’s either oblivious, illiterate, unobservant, or stupid. Of course, he could be all four.

What does he think Social Security is?

What does he think Food Stamps are?

What does he think public housing is?

We have more government programs than any country out there. Our socialism puts other socialist countries to shame.

We have a government program for everything. We probably have a government program to subsidize ice cream.

Instituting socialism, collectivism, communism, pretty much the same in the real world, is the goal of our elites.

This is what Joe McCarthy stumbled onto in the early 1950s.

He got in the way of their party.

Because he got in the way of their party, they broke him.

Joe McCarthy pulled the curtain back and revealed who they were.

He came to see what he was up against.

It’s too bad that most Americans don’t understand what they’re up against.

Trump is part of that process.

Our leaders are very clever.

Fidel Castro would start insurrections against himself when he was the leader of Cuba.

That seems strange until you realize that Fidel would use those insurrections as a means to attract the type of people who would rise up against him.

Then he would be more able to round them up and incarcerate them.

A very clever man that Fidel Castro was.

Our elites are no different.

They set Trump up as an insurrection of sorts against their plan to institute totalitarianism in the United States.

Only in our case, they don’t arrest the insurgents, they entertainment them to death while doing nothing.

A dog with a bone neither barks nor bites.

The Romans did as much by offering bread and circus.

There is nothing new under the sun.

Trump is just a new dog practicing old tricks.

He has accomplished very little while in office.

Almost nothing.

He’s all talk and no walk. Instead of stating that socialism will never come to the United States, he would be better off by instituting programs that ensure that our country veer way from socialism.

He could have set up a competitive market place in healthcare. One of the reasons why health care insurance premiums are so high is because we have overcentralization in the healthcare industry. He could have decentralized the healthcare industry.

Actions speak louder than words.

Yet Trump did nothing, and does nothing.

One would be hard-pressed to find one substantial piece of legislation that Trump has instituted that fundamentally alters the relentless tide of socialism that has been manifest in the United States for the past 80 years.

Where is it?

It doesn’t exist.

It doesn’t exist because it’s not meant to exist.

Trump is one president in a long line of puppet-placeholders owned by Corporate America who exists to implement the elites’ plan for the American citizenry.

What is that plan?

Total control of your life through an oppressive communist regime that they, the elites, control – except this communist regime will be one in which they, not the state, will own all the property.

You’ll be a slave on their plantation.

COVID in the Air

Dr. Fauci says that the Rose Garden confirmation event for Amy Coney Barrett was a super-spreader event.

He then uses that event to justify the face mask.

Well, there you have it. God has spoken.

Who am I, a mere mortal, who has not graduated from the Ivy League to defy Lord Fauci?

Stand down, knave!

Ah, but I shall not bend the knee.

I am a rude knave, an insolent beast.

Of course, I was not there at the event. Mortals may not attend. I have to rely on video.

Nevertheless, I can see clearly that at the end of the event people were shaking hands.

It would also make sense to me that people were shaking hands before the event.

It would also make sense to me that hors d’oeuvres were being served at this event. But even if they weren’t, it seems reasonable that during or after the event people would reach into their pocket and pop a TicTac, a piece of gum or even a pill into their mouth without washing their hands first.

I know this is likely to happen because Americans are not accustomed to washing their hands.

I know this very well because I have taken care of patients for the past 38 years. The reason they’re coming into my office is because they’re sick. And they are sick because they don’t wash their hands before eating.

This is the principal way that infections are spread.

Dr. Fauci states that this Rose Garden event – and the number of infections that ensued – indicates that face masks are necessary.

I disagree. I don’t think the face mask prevented one infection during that ceremony.

The idea that a coughed or sneezed virus would make a beeline into someone’s trachea which would then overcome non-adaptive immune defenses to infect them is beyond belief.

The infectious dose would be dramatically limited by the sheer volume of air that exists in the atmosphere.

Pure respiratory transmission of disease goes against my 38 years of pediatric practice in which I am up close and personal with coughing children every day of the week.

I almost never get sick because I wash my hands.

My experience has taught me that handwashing is paramount in preventing infection.

I have explained this before but I will explain it again.

Infections are transmitted when people cough on their hands, shake hands with other people, or pass money to others, after which the receiving people then ingest food into their body without washing their hands first.

This is probably what occurred in the Rose Garden ceremony for Amy Coney Barrett assuming that the whole thing is not a hoax perpetrated by the powers that be in order to perpetuate the use of the useless face mask.

This is probably also what occurred in the influenza outbreak in Philadelphia after the Thanksgiving day parade in 1918.

Probably those attendees of that parade in 1918 purchased soft pretzels, hotdogs or souvenirs. To purchase items one needs money. Money is a fomite. The influenza virus was probably passed from one person to another through the vendors.

The people being at a parade and without access to facilities with which to wash their hands probably then ingested peanuts, soft pretzels, or hotdogs while the parade was going on.

It is extremely unlikely that they passed the virus to one another via an airborne route simply because of what I have explained already. When a person coughs or sneezes in the air those respiratory droplets that are suspended in the air are dispersed throughout the entire immediate ocean of air – which is huge.

It is as ludicrous to think that you can contaminate the air as it is to think that Lex Luthor can poison the city water supply with a small vial of poison.

Lex Luthor could dump a truckload of poison into the city water supply and accomplish nothing.

I could have hosed down the entire volume of air around Amy Coney Barrett’s reception with coronavirus and achieved nothing.

I’m joking, of course, but if you think that a few people intermittently coughing into the open air caused all those infections, then you are joking with me.

Now, let’s do the math.

The date of this Rose Garden event was 9/26/20.

You can see that the wind speed was not high. The flags and the trees were fluttering only slightly. I estimate that the wind speed was no more than 2 mph. Conservatively the wind speed was at 1 mph.

Even at 1 mph, the speed of the wind was approximately 1.46 feet per second. Most Americans stand at a distance from each other of about 2 to 3 feet. Most adults also cough into their hands. Rarely do adults cough right into the face of other adults.

A coughed or sneezed particle travels much faster however; the results will vary upon which researcher you choose to believe. But the speeds could reach anywhere from 10 to 100 mph.

This could work for us or against us with regard to the coronavirus.

Since most people don’t hold their mouth open, like a catcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers ready to received a fast ball from Clayton Kershaw, it could be that a sneezed virus moving at 100 miles an hour would move past you or worse be trapped upon your face mask.

In this case the face mask would work against you because most people are constantly adjusting it.

By the way, do you think that a catcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers could catch a Clayton Kershaw fastball from 2 feet away?

Maybe not, but he might get hit in the face. Likewise, it might be likely that a person sneezing at you missed your mouth and landed on your face. So what? Are you a dog? Do you lick your face?

Probably not.

Let’s say though, that you were not standing in front of the sneezer but were six to ten feet away; would you be likely to become infected?

Well, if the virus is being sneezed out at 100 mph, wouldn’t it be likely to be sneezed out in a wide variety of directions thus diluting its infectious dose rapidly and thoroughly.

If the virus remained suspended in the air, wouldn’t an airspeed of 1.5 ft./s be enough to thoroughly dilute the power of the infectious dose?

As I have spoken before, a 15’ x 10’ x 10’ room, or 300 ft.³, has 8400 liters of air. Imagine the quantity of air when you are standing outdoors. Now tell me how likely it is that you are going to get infected while outdoors.

You’d have to be coughed upon by a COVID-19 afflicted Superman sneezing out super-phlegm to become infected.

Thus, I do not believe that the face mask prevented anyone or would have prevented anyone from getting infected in the Rose Garden. It may even be that the face mask did more harm either by acting as a coronavirus collector or by giving a false sense of confidence to the people who wore them.

Ah yes, but does the face mask prevent the afflicted person from getting coronavirus on their own hands which are then transmitted to others?

Unlikely as people are constantly adjusting their face mask, holding up their hand over their face mask when they cough, or rubbing their nose when it itches or runs.

What’s the take-home message?

Wash your hands.

Sincerely,

Archer Crosley, MD

PS I can’t resist. Can you imagine anybody coughing at that event? Why the audacity. They would have been taken down by Seal Team Six.

America’s Cancer Cell

I think a basketball metaphor is in order given that Anthony Fauci was a basketball player.

Many decades ago, when I was a young man, in the early-1970s, the Philadelphia Sixers, in my hometown of Philadelphia, sported the worst record ever in NBA history.

They won only nine games.

A few years later, the 76ers acquired an ABA star named George McGinnis. This was the beginning of the Sixers resurrection.

In his first season with the Sixers, he was asked how is it that a team can win only nine games.

George McGinnis responded by saying something wise.

His wise words remain with me to this day. He said: Some guys cut corners for so long that they don’t know they’re cutting corners anymore.

And so it is with Anthony Fauci, the hero of Coach K, the hero of the Washington Press Corps, the scourge of regular people, the scourge of the small businessman.

You became seduced, Anthony Fauci. You became seduced by Corporate America.

I am sure that you were an honest man when you first went to work for the government, but they sucked you win.

Corporate America, the bedfellow and eventual master of the government, enticed you to join the team.

They knew their man well.

They gave you a perk here and a perk there.

They began with small stuff, innocent gifts, not really gifts at all:  an invitation to speak here, a featured guest spot as an expert over there.

An expert drug dealer like Corporate America knows how to bring people along.  They don’t want to go too far too fast.

In time, though, they moved you up the ladder.

You were a pretty capable guy, so you were given a State Dinner invitation and perhaps a ride on Air Force One.

Closer to the King you became.

King Louis smiled at you.

He liked you, and you liked him.

Pretty heady stuff.

Rapidly the relationship grew.

In time you got a  meeting with the President and an honorary doctorate.

Now, you were really somebody, eh?

Slowly but surely they roped you into the toxic stew of self-importance.

Then they gave you the Presidential Medal of Freedom. That’s where they really hooked you.

And once they hooked you, they had you – hook, line and sinker.

You became their boy.

That’s how you cut corners for so long that you didn’t know you were cutting corners anymore.

You got sucked into the cancer cell that is Corporate America, which has ravaged America, which has bled America out.

You are now their boy, lock stock and barrel.

So if they want hydroxychloroquine sidelined, snap the fingers, it’s done.

If they want the face mask instituted so as to help promote a festering infection, snap the fingers, it’s done.

If they want the idea of herd immunity laughed at, snap the fingers, it’s done.

Let’s see, what else?

Oh yeah, if they want the Moderna vaccine nudged long, snap the fingers, it’s done.

If they need the flames of fear stoked, snap the fingers, it’s done.

If they need the idea of school reopening dashed, snap the fingers, it’s done.

I’ll tell you this, Anthony, you are amazing. Wherever and whenever Corporate America needs you, you are there.

You get around quite a bit, don’t show?

You are all over the court.

Like the fine basketball player you are, you have all the moves.

The problem is which team are you playing for?

Come to think of it, maybe you haven’t been cutting any corners at all.

Back in the day, nobody questioned the Sixers diligence in trying to win; they just weren’t any good.

Nobody back in the day would even dream that a player or a team would tank intentionally.

That notion didn’t exist in the America that I grew up in. It was only years later when America became corrupted by greed that people began to suspect that a basketball team would tank a season.

It is money and the notion of immortality that corrupts a sport, a person, a nation.

And it can happen very quietly so that a person does not even know it. And that is what happened to you.

Sincerely,
